Gong Cai or Yamakurage is a very special food
It looks like stem lettuce, but really isn't
Its color is brighter than stem lettuce, and tastes more crispy, with a flavor like a jellyfish
and since it sounds crunchy, it's also called "Sound Lettuce“
Cut into thin sticks, and after getting sun-dried it will be very flavorful.
There're also many recipes for it,
In Sichuan, it is a must-have for hotpot.
This time I didn't make hotpot, instead, I made the Chili Boiled Veggies & Meat,
Chili Oil Gong Cai Salad, and Diced Chicken Stir-Fried with Gong Cai (which is inspired by the Minced Chicken with Preserved Mustard Buds）
I got hungry by just repeating these names of dishes...
貢菜是一種很神奇的食物
光看外形很多人會認為它是萵筍，但它真的不是萵筍
它的色澤要比萵筍更鮮亮,而且質地也更爽口，味若海蜇
因其食之有聲音，所以又叫它響菜
剝皮劈條曬乾後，風味更加獨特，吃法也很多樣
在四川，貢菜也是吃火鍋必不可少的一道菜
這次沒有煮火鍋，但是煮了冒菜
涼拌貢菜，還有一道用雞米芽菜改良後雞米貢菜

I love watching Ermichyian's cooking, I am fascinated with all the ingredients and veges that she puts in her cooking. I actually watched her videos more than I watch TV because I can learn a lot of new ideas about certain leaves she uses and also vegetables that I have not seen before. Your videos are very Highly commended to me because of the work you put in looking after your family. I really enjoyed when you gathered around the table for a meal because of all the different dishes. To me you are the most and the best cook in the world. I also commend you on working hard when you planted the vegetables on the field. I find it awesome to watch because you are so clever in everything especially creating different dishes with different variety of veges and plants. Some of the veges you dig out of the ground are considered weed where I come from. These are the most watch videos in my computer because I can learn something from it.

黄花菜在没有开花时采摘下来做菜吃，做汤喝是没有毒的。但是，一旦开花了就不能吃了。
