i don't think he necessarily rejected her, he just said he likes one person which ofc everyone knows in and outside of the show and they rlly only have 8 days they should mingle and be bold with their intentions which is why tae eun and him have that same convo in the preview. tbh i rlly do think he's very comfortable and vulnerable around her bc they're around the same age, so they have a lot of natural chemistry but i feel once he knows of her feelings (After the conversation), his approach to her might be diff...also TE and SR age gap is a big issue i don't think they'd work irl, esp cause it's early 20s vs early 30s, the boy hasn't even gone to uni yet...in the real world where a lot of things come to factor outside of feelings, i feel SY might be the better option we shall seeee.
