I mean is hody jones even considered a villain? to me he is more of a symbol, like Lucci, who was just the representation of the world government, and hody is the representation of racism.
now, I dont see why you would respect Moriah as a villain just from Thriller Bark alone, more than being a representation for "what if Luffy lost all his Nakama".
moriah in thriller bark isnt respectable though. although in the more recent episodes, you can see he has guts, with raiding Blackbeard's base just to get Absalom back, and that kind of tells you that losing all his nakama to Kaido really fucked up Moriah mentally.
its sort of like what we had with croc and his childhood dream of being pirate king, but the anime never showed that because the anime refuses to adapt most cover stories.

Hody Jones is way lower than the other two tho, he don't have any redeeming quality that could make him likeable, he's isn't loyal, smart, powerful (without some drugs) and don't even have the motive Arlong had (Hody never experienced racism) while Moria is a least a good captain to his crew (he's creating zombie because they're disposable, so that his actual crew, even if 2 out of 3 are rotten, stay alive) and Kuro is smart (and pretty badass for early one piece, more than the villain before and after him)

Skypiea feels like the end of old One Piece. it's a fun ride but people consider it "filler" because it doesn't feed much into the main plot (yet) like other arcs do. Water 7 is where shit starts to get crazy, and your viewership should definitely increase around there.

Skypiea is not filler at all? Especially not with the foreshadowing that ties into the current manga.
WTF how can people consider skypiea as filler when there's such important lore at the end which was relevant in the later arcs and still relevant to this day. Also the Noland backstory and how well it tied into the story was truly a chef's kiss

LETS GOOOOO. btw those shots on the opening were taken from the color spreads of the manga since opening 3 or 4 I think they decided to use them so the openings weren't too spoiler heavy, and I think they work great, mostly of the color spreads are them in some new location having an adventure, but in more actual openings they focus more on the arc and the things happening since One Piece got so big
43:00 I can explain your confusion. When Sanji was first introduced he had his hair brushed to cover the left side of his face. But when he appeared after the timeskip , it switched to the right side.

And like you said, it's basically a revamped version of the very first opening made with the new art style and including all the new Straw Hats that have joined the crew since the show started.

I used to switch Nami and Robin's names around when i started watching show, its fine you swapped Zoro and Sanji, i totally get it. I also used to be a hater on this show too. I was around when 4kids had the dubbing rights so it was way worse for me to get over that because Crunchyroll wasn't huge back then. Now its my favorite anime of all time.
Somebody probably answered this but, we pretty much stay in the Grand Line and go to what's called the New World for the rest of the anime. The remix with the new outfits is the 1000th episode special. just a fun tidbit if you didn't know: Chopper is voiced by Pikachu's voice actress.
