@StoneyCreekSparkchaser Funny ...Brian and I have a spot we are still working the last two years! It has a lot of dredging that needs done and it's been driving me mad 🤪. I have a battery shop vac for crevicing... reminds me I've needed to install a drain so when I wet crevice I can just drain the extra water instead of opening it up constantly 🙃

@StoneyCreekSparkchaser mine is the smaller one and can be attached to a pack. They have an even smaller Ryobi, but the one I have works well. Very worth it in the summer when you have dry crevices 😉🫡

I’m so thankful for having great neighbors! I can’t wait to get back up there with the correct tools. I’m excited for that spot!

Since I live in WA, I just wanted to do my due diligence so I wasn’t stepping on toes. I’ll circle back with those guys this week and see what’s going on. There is a forest road a few more miles up, but then we’re missing everything in between. I did find some great new spots that look very promising though! I can’t wait!
I just deleted your address reply (for your protection) but I screenshotted it. I’ll gather up some of my cons which I’ve been picking through to get my garnets. I’m out of town currently, but when I get back, I’ll send you a ziplock baggie worth of material to sift through. You’ll probably find enough micro garnets to get a 5 gram vile worth. That’s what I did and it was only a medium amount of cons that filled a ball jar. You just have to pick through it slowly with tweezers. Fun though, took me about a week to go through that much an hour or 2 a night :)

I've got that fever again though and I'm going to be picking up the 8x35 dream mat sluice sometime soon and am getting pretty excited. Might check a few places in your direction this summer. I have a friend that lives in Packwood and I know there's some decent places out that way and out on the Lewis River...I'm getting more interested in doing a bit of hiking in on some of the harder to get to tributaries throughout Western Washington. Perhaps one of these days I'll run into you! Digging your vids man and appreciate you sharing your outings! ✌️

It goes up and down for me as well, but I’m feeling hot right now and want to go everyday. I’m fortunate enough to have a great area on my property. I just need to get in there more and really hit those pockets. As for that sluice… the 8x35 is my go to and I absolutely love that thing. It’s done me so good and I’m happy I have it. David at Dream Mat is amazing to work with and he’s a solid dude. As for seeing you in the future, dude thats awesome. I below to NAPA which has a dozen or so claims near Randle (Packwood) area. I have a few videos on here about those areas. As for western Washington, that place might be one of the best. My bad Carl. I thought I answered you. I dont want to be specific because that’s where I live for it’s my property. As for a close area with many other creeks that have similar results, I live in southwestern Washington and more specially on the western sides of Olympia.
Finding creeks with gold is called testing new ground. Finding good ground is expensive process and people are always trying to get free gold at the expense of another persons hard work. Happy prospecting 👊⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️⚒️💪🇺🇸
