every time i watch the scene of eleven closing the gate i find myself holding my breath and getting really emotional. it’s by far one of the most beautiful and well preformed scenes in the show. millie, david, the visual effects team, and everyone else who helped did such a phenomenal job, i really can’t put it into words.
i get very emotional when i watch that scene as well!!
mac yes I love the look on hoppers face as he looks over his shoulder as she rises off the ground. Such pride and amazement.
mac I think that scene was great, but also the scene where Will was heated up and ridded of the mind flare. Noah Schnapp did an excellent performance there with the suffering and agony as the mind flare was being driven out of Will.
It is the music and the performances that blow you away. I absolutely love that scene as well!

@@ryhsey.8560 Yeah cause everyone wants Mileven drama and no one wants some kinda cool storyline with Will in season 3. I actually liked Mike and Eleven dating which is rare because I don't ship anyone, but when they spent half the season on the "Oh no Mike and Eleven have broken up and now they have to get back together somehow" plot, I was like "OK can everyone just be friends again and can Will actually do something other than feel his spidey senses?" It kinda gummed up the plot.

Can we talk about the Eleven *screams* Millie pulls off so amazingly when she defeats the Demogorgon, closes the Gate, and kills the Mind Flayer in all three seasons? Noah’s performance in season 2 was just phenomenal. In the episode where the doctors torch the vines and will is just convulsing on the floor, that literally gave me nightmares for months because Noah did such an amazing job

well, the argument scene happens. absolutely outstanding, brilliant performance. wow, that was really one of the best choices they have made in the whole show. every scene with Hopper and El in season 2 was so real, so emotional and tender, they were probably my favourite part of season 2 and S2 was my favourite. really looking forward to their scenes together in season 4
I really appreciate how willing they were to tweak the story as they were shooting. It's hard to imagine Stranger Things without good Steve... and killing Bob off earlier wouldn't have been as emotional for the audience.

What if the reason eleven lost her powers is because the gate was finally shut for good! And the when she gets her powers back that means the gate has been re opened!
Also I think the reason they made her loose her powers is because if she had her powers she would have looked for hopper because we all know he isn’t dead.
There was a ladder right behind him plus there was no sign of he actually dying.
That’s just a theory, a show theory

ABSOLUTELY what I was thinking. If she had powers she would’ve channeled Hopper.. that would’ve been another episode and a running season, with no suspense... I think she’s going to somehow regain her strength, and somethings going to bring them back to Hawkins, to get Hopper...
I don't think her powers is connected to the gate because she had them before the gate was opened (she's literally the one who opened it )and she lost it before they closed the gate too so nah it's not because of the gate she lost her powers
But eleven open the gate with her power, so Eleven had powers before the gate was opened
I love them too much to the point that I personally want to kiss their hands as a sign of gratitude to show them how grateful I am to them for making this incredible show.
The closing the gate scene gives me chills it’s so good
