i was just messing around in ableton and found some sounds that reminded me of customn is king, decided to try and make something similar so im super happy this tutorial exists lol
@@nath8234 it is true, a good producer gives an identity to music, it's the small details that make a producer BIG, but once you teach your secret to someone he can replicate it exactly, I mean do you know how many mona Lisas where painted during history? A lot indeed.. so yes Solomun has a ghost producer but I think you gotta earn it.
This is obviously amazing thanks for making this. I don't think the original has any sidechaining, also I think the bass has rhythm, it's not just 1 long note

I am complete beginner producer, i am somewhat familiar with FL studio, but I think Ableton is much more neat and I think to switch, So would be great if you could be more detailed about how you go about production in Ableton, like hot keys and such, arrangement all that stuff, to advance to pro level! I notice that in this video you use Serum, but in another video you use Pigments2. What's the reason you choose a specific synth, because Serum and Pigments have a lot in common.
