***my perception of the scripture Is because ( as many "christians") rely on & trust the bible Matthew 24:12 A Believer understands that where sin (s) our Creator YAWEH ELOHIM has given grace AND mercy have keeping us& yet. As a nation so divided with "unholy acts" "sin" becomes so great that people are mean- raging & hateful.

Inequity is defined as lack of justice; injustice. Matthew 24:12 ~ "and because of the increasing of lawlessness, the love of the greater number will grow cold." ~ NWT.
Keep in mind, this scripture is not just saying that people who deal with injustice are lawless. Rather, the ones who create the injustice could be considered lawless. In vs 10 it mentions that many would be stumbled and will betray one another and will hate one another. Surely, on one side or another.. this has lead to injustice. It very well be because the ones in authority are not taking their concerns seriously or are not taking the opportunity to give justice to those who seek it. In this sense, they could be considered lawless.
Jesus was sitting on the Mount of Olives talking to his disciples. They had just asked him a few questions, including what signs there would be of his presence in the last days. This was one of them.

This is so beautiful. When there is anger and disquiet in the streets, this song should be played over loud speakers in the streets until people stop and listen.
