Hi is this louder than indore silencer? Any performance increase from stock exhaust?
It sounds similar to Red Rooster,, so you get deep bassy sound ., Compared to indori.. Its a bit loud on higher revs., on normal rev range it’s quiet.. (This exhaust sounds closer to stock on normal riding, but once you wide open the throttle it sounds like monster)
The bike pulls upto top speed with ease compared to stock.., It pulls great even from stand still,, So definitely there’s good performance improvement, probably due to reduced back pressure and Weight.. ( its one fifth the weight of stock.. )
I heard your silencer whistling and i have heard the same exhausts which don't whistle !! How is it ?
I have used 4 exhausts so far and the only one whistles is , BS3 stock exhaust of old gen classic ( the one with smaller tank and different royal enfield logo and black keys instead of re red keys..)
That stock exhaust is of 500 cc older gen classic, it is louder than any other stock exhaust and it makes whistling sound on revving,,

Bro did it fit directly to your electra or else did you do any alterations to the clamp?
You have to do minor adjustments,,
Connect the exhaust clamp to rear foot peg,
Reuse electra’s stock clamp or buy generic short bottle clamp to attach front clamp to original clamp bolt on front..
Use Anabond Rtv silicone 666T max gasket glue at the mouth of the exhaust to avoid air leak..,

Sir do u have a video where u modified this silencer for electra. RE website says it is only compatible with Classic
I didnt modified anything sir., it fits snuggly with classic,, and it fits little bit at edge with electra and standard.,
I will disassemble and reassemble in my next video for better clarity regarding this.,
To keep it short, you can use this exhaust in electra without any issues, Just need to apply RTV glue and tighten the clamp completely., if possible use additional clamps to secure the silencer from vibration..,

No, its not removable.. It doesnt have any DB killer..
This stock exhaust can be modified by cutting the canister, removing the baffles completely or partly then welding back or revitting .. It will sound like indori, or long bottle.. based on your modification...

It doesn’t has any baffles, You can see thru the exhaust, but it has Ceramic wool and steel wool packing like Redrooster..,
So it essentially becomes free flow.. But provides required backpressure..
I have seen my friends installing it on BS6 engines without db killers, They are perfectly fine and working without any issues..
Removing Db killer just makes it sound like red rooster (exactly same) Doesn’t affect engine in any way, except if your air filter is dirty, it will backfire on deceleration..

Its due to Corona issue and lack of transportation.. Even if not available they should arrange for order or Stock transfer.. In my case I got it by Branch transfer from nearby Branch..

NO it wont affect the milage if you ride smoothly.. u get 40 to 42 kmpl
It will affect milage "drastically" if ridden in High revs, doing Phataka or sudden accelerations..
Becoz That Extra BHP due to less Backpressure kicks in at Higher revs.. u may get even as low as 25kmpl. The exhaust is best of both worlds..

Yes we can reinstall and use it whenever necessary.. Just a bolt is there to hold it in place..

How its possible to fit on other models
Difference between classic and Bullet/electra is, only that the Bracket mounting on foot rest is extended by "1 inch".. Any exhaust made for Classic can be used on Electra , the exhaust mouth covers the mid pipe completely in classic while It holds the 1/4th edge in electra, we have to apply RTV silicone gasket maker to avoid air leakage, and tighten all the bolts properly.. another simple hack is to, insert BS4 gasket 3/4th way into the exhaust,and 1/4th sticking out of the exhaust mouth, so that it will grab the exhaust mid pipe comfortably and we can apply RTV glue to get a firm hold.. and lock air leakage..
Or else we can always alter the bracket by welding/ drilling additional holes, etc to fit it properly.. But it will not be aesthetically pleasing..
For thunderbird we have to use Motowings adaptor.. It joins between the midpipe and exhaust...

No drop on milage so far..
Bike rides without strain, and reaches top speed easily compared to stock..
Low end torque got reduced a little bit.. But not at all noticeable unless you are climbing a hill..

Some sounds similar to Indori, But mostly it sounds tinny and unpleasant.,
1) You can cut below the exhaust and remove the baffle completely to get Long punjab type of hollow sound..
2) You can partially remove baffles to the extent you like, It will sound tinny, but louder., - not recommended
3) You can get a triple core indori and use the baffle inside the stock exhaust,
You have to remove the baffles from indori first, then empty out the stock exhaust and reuse indori baffles in stock exhaust.,
- It will sound better than indori or any other modifications, but highly unreliable, the core weld will break on impact.,
If you really need reliable louder stock exhaust, then try to find 2012-13 period classic 500 stock exhaust, (from the very first gen of desert storm, squadron blue classics)
I have used such an exhaust in my bike before, hear it out.., Its way better than modifying stock BS4 exhaust by welding..,

One of the best sounding silencers were the ones that came in old cast iron Bullets (before the Bs3 ones) which had a longer bend pipe and short silencer, similar looking like an indori/mini punjab but a bit thicker. That had an amazing sound. The unmistakable perfect thumping note was present. But unfortunately it's very hard to find these days

Nothing so far, the only important thing is to apply thick layer of *Anabond 666 T RTV silicone glue* where the exhaust meets the mid pipe.. to avoid air leakage..

I got this installed on my 500cc and I'm really regretting it, there is way too much back fire every time I let go of the accelerator, it's only meant for 350cc ..3800 down the drain
Sad to hear this,, The issue is not with the Exhaust, Your bike is EFI i think.. No exhaust goes well with EFI bikes(Red rooster & motowings,etc).. because of the O2 sensor and Air fuel ratio issues.. (Backfire happens in every other exhaust on letting go of the accelerator)
Even in 350 cc, this happens watch this video..

Only way to rectify this issue is by installing any aftermarket EFI unit and performance filters, and that too is not worth the money..

@@Umeir1 Bro, In my case Dirty air filter caused the issue.. and also, every bike (ktm, bullet,pulsar.,etc) produces backfire on decelerating with closed throttle. (As the engine speed is high, but the fuel input is low, the mixture becomes lean, which results in incomplete combustion and backfires)
Have you used any other free flow exhaust before and faced this issue?
@@RowdyCA haha..New oem spark plugs and air filter also installed..yeah I didn't have issues with my indore short bottle and bs3 stock silencer, unfortunately I got rid of the other silencers..will have to see what I can do..the indore did pop once in a while but this peashooter pops alot like 10 15 times when I let go of the accelerator, hopefully time will resolve it or I will have to sell it for cheap..thank you again

This exhaust is absolute wonder, produces old bullet like loud thump, its upto the user to use it legally with DB killer or risking it to get old thump..,,
