Remember when Caroline said that people always choose elena first and she is the second choice...and then Klaus came and he instantly liked Caroline and she was his first choice.....and even then she couldn't be with Klaus because her friends and her morale wouldn't approve of it......and on the other hand elena is with Damon who did pretty bad stuff and abused Caroline and she has to be around him....

That's as it should have done in the series. In fact, they abduct Caroline and took her away to New Orleans would be a good way to introduce it in The Originals, if you ever decide to restore the Klaroline and make her change of series.

Their acting chemistry is perfection they need their own spin off show or at least a series of movies. If I hit the lotto, I’m going to hire them and bring a story back. They are the best ! @@VoteForGlass2 Yes...both the stories are taking place in the same world! the oldest vampires the Mikaelsons also known as "originals" in "vampire diaries" show moved to a new show dedicated to their origin stories in the same universe hence the show is called "the originals"...except for a few episodes and characters here and there, there isn't much overlap in the shows so both can be watched as standalones without missing anything..
