HISTORY
CN’s 2697 to 2726 series DASH 9s were built in 2004 and were sublettered for the Illinois Central. The rest were delivered to CN proper. This made these units the last locomotives delivered to the Illinois Central new, albeit in CN paint. They were also some of the last DASH 9's built before the General Electric Evolution Series rolled out. A unique spotting feature is the “teardrop” style cab windows which helped increase visibility for train crews.
THE MODELS
In this run, we are offering “early” (as delivered) or “late” versions for modelers who want variety. Both CN versions include Canadian style walkways with see-through grating and ribbed anticlimbers, both on the front and rear. Both versions also feature front and rear LED ditch lights. A unique CN feature that is only available on the late versions is Operating LED integral red marker lights which are used when locomotives are assigned to DPU service.
INVENTORY WON’T LAST LONG
Inventory is limited and won’t last long, so if you’ve been wanting to add these unique DASH 9s to your HO Scale model railroad, now is the time to order. We have just one road number remaining for the late version with DCC & Sound.

We need more ops demos!!!
We're definitely looking at incorporating more of these for future video projects! -Logan
Hopefully Scale Trains will do another run of Dash 9's(HO Scale) & consider doing the BNSF "fake bonnet" version & later NS versions. Great job 👏 👍 👌
We'll keep those in mind for future production runs. Thanks for watching! -Logan
I recognize that layout! I’ve always wondered if Pelle Solberg ever made those crossing signals work and now I know. Nice product.
They certainly add plenty of life to the layout while filming. We appreciate you taking the time to watch! -Logan
Just purchased my first Scaletrains RivetCounter locomotive. It’s a CN tier 4 Gevo that I got a great deal on eBay. One of the things that I love about high quality locomotives is they hold their value very well on the secondary market. Will be a great addition to my club’s Michigan based layout and I hope to get more scaletrains locomotives in the future. Is there any chance you’d ever do a run of Great Lakes Central locomotives?
We're glad that you're enjoying the Tier 4! We can certainly keep it in mind for future projects. -Logan
Some UP SD40-2s would look good on that layout. ;)

Hopefully another run of H2 and H3 and faded ATSF Dash-9s in n scale
We'll certainly keep those in mind for a future production run. -Logan
Nice locos.
We appreciate it! -Logan
Pelle!
Will you all produce n scale n&w auxiliary water tenders at some point in the future?
While currently no, we can keep them in consideration for a future project. -Logan
Is there any possibility for future runs of ES44s in N Scale?
It will be down the road, but there will be a newly tooled replacement to cover the former FVM N Scale ES44 project. -Logan
@@Scaletrains Sounds amazing! Thanks!
