The national guard could box them all in and then the police can come in and make arrest and tow and impound the cars. Then they can explain it to the judge. Three strikes and the car gets sold at auction, money going to the city for street repairs. We have the same garbage in Vallejo… It’s constant and it’s beyond old. This is what you do with your life? You’re given one life to do something purposeful with and you spend it watching cars drive in a circle? That’s a sad existence.
And as a sidenote, I’m convinced that the mayors of Vallejo, Oakland, and San Francisco are major shareholders in the leading tire companies.
The lack of concern they have for others is wild. The older people who paid off their homes to retire to and are being terrorized with this not to mentioned lowering values of their homes. The sick or newborn baby and mother resting at home. Just a sad group of "boys" that should be young respectful men.

I'm sorry ladies some of us didn't choose this life of stealing fast cars, and doing copious amounts of drugs and liquor - The life chose us. We come from broken homes, with no money or opportunity, we work the same retail and service jobs as you everyday for 60 years with kids, parents, bills, taxes, and all the exact same obligations and responsibilities of every person in this country. We figure god will forgive us for occasionally letting our inner demons out after all america has not held up its end of the social contract and has been at war against the poor and indigenous since the europeans got here, criminal mishcief is really just the system letting off pressure, but its also usefull tool in civic engagement and highlighting issues where we can better allocate recourse to fix a problem. anyway keep your doors locked and your cars empty and you won't get bipped!

This brings back memories of when I lived in Oakland. I moved out last year. These sideshows were a regular occurrence. Lots of tread marks on the pavement in the intersection.
Cut out the welfare and food stamps to disburse the crowd.

This is such a stupid thing to do in the 70s i Street raced in San Jose. We always did it in places that were safe late at night but this horseshit of street takeovers to me is useless. It’s not fun to watch it’s just plain stupid.
Back in the 70s all of us bought 60s cars we all worked on them I could fix anything on my 69 Chevelle it had a 396 in it and was very fast

But regardless I don't get standing around around so close to drivers I have no idea of what there skill level is to essentially do donuts over and over. For sure more businesses are closing dut to crimes and robberies. This includes In-N-Out fast food chain. Kaiser locked their employees to have lunch within their offices due to crimes. Although IDK about the stadium situations, that's a pretty good idea. Charge fees for driving, and fees for spectating and after paying for upkeep of property, put the profits to good use withing the city or towards area non-profits. If ppl still use the streets, enforce a very hefty fine that must be paid no matter what.
Personally I wish these *edited to be nice and PC* individuals would be safe responsible drivers that followed the driving laws. But giving them an arena where they sign a waiver to acknowledging they're liable for injuries they inflict on each other is fine by me.@@macycharmin

I spent one night in Oakland last November while taking Amtrak from Denver to Los Angeles; it was eye-opening to see how a certain ethnic group is deferred to and given free rein to be as rowdy and lawless as they please. Long as they keep it in the 'hood and out of the wealthy areas like downtown Emeryville, that is...walk a few blocks and the contrast couldn't be starker.
That is a large amount of very very very expensive high end cars. THAT SHOULD RAISE SOME EYEBROWS! CRAZY HOODLUMS DRIVING THE MOST EXPENSIVE CARS IN THE WHOLE CITY!
