Guys, this was utter hell. This guy is capable of dropping my Max 999 HP to about 150 in just one set of attacks. Dodging is absolutely KEY in this battle. Otherwise you'll just end up healing, and trying to keep yourself alive instead of actually fighting the boss itself. Why? Because he hits like an absolute truck, capable of dealing 200+ if you aren't DEF buffed, or his ATK isn't lowered. While 200 may not seem like much, it is when he has 5 turns in a row to dish it out. No biggie, just always make sure you're buffed and/or he's debuffed... right? Well yeah - if you're lucky. He has access to Dekaja and Dekunda, and he isn't afraid to use them if you land on the bad side of his A.I. Seriously, a Dekaja followed by an onslaught of four attacks in a row is a borderline guaranteed run killer. This run was only possible because I was dodging out of my mind, and he didn't attempt to Dekaja/Dekunda once. Not sure exactly what I did for him to become so considerate, but I'll take it. If you wanna attempt this I urge you to put on Divine Pillar and/or Firm Stance - Because if he's pushing me to my limit with 999 HP, 99 Magic, 99 Endurance, and 99 Agility, you're probably going to need all the help you can get. Best of luck, friends.
Oh yeah. Powerful Multi-targeting Skills like Hassou Tobi, Shining Arrows and Morning Star essentially banned, since we wouldn't want to destroy the arms. You know, if it wasn't hard enough already.

When I first fought this boss on my first playthrough I was at level 68 it took me about an hour with switching my characters In and out.But when I won I reached level 69 it was beautiful.

A fun fact of my first time in P5:
Is in Madarame’s palace when you have 5 members and need to choose only three partners for the group. Well, I forgot to choose them and finished the Madarame’s Palace only with Joker XD was after sending the calling card that I saw them at the entrance and chooses them hahaha

I didn’t know you could destroy the arms so really my strategy was Ryuji buffs everyone’s attack, joker uses concentrate, Ann uses concentrate and Makoto buffs everyone’s defense. Then on the second turn Joker uses any powerful magic skill that hit on target for massive damage, Ryuji charges for the next turn to use God’s hand, Ann would use her strongest Fire skill and if everyone was good on HP Makoto would attack with atomic flare. Rinse and repeat
My final team was Ann,yusuke,joker,Morgana
Morgana had salvation on him and I used good support items I had saved up while. Ann buffs herself and debuff all enemy atk. Joker would buff and hit with black viper. Yusuke ... was being yusuke he’s a favorite lol but he was doing decent physical dmg with what I had equipped . Fight didn’t take me more then 30 mins . Currently on my second run looking forward to the super bosses aside reaper he was actually cheese once you roll up with good personas and decent stats
Wait but Ann's strongest fire attack is an aoe move, you definitely would've known the arms could be destroyed.

Dare: Beat Yaldabaoth with only Guns/Gun type skills. You can of course heal because of skill cost, and of course you can use all Thieves present, but once the other thieves run out of bullets and they don’t have gun type skills, they can only focus on supporting Joker. By all means you don’t have to do this, but it would be interesting.

I had this game on hard mode before I switched it back down to normal at the end of the first palace. I was kiiinda in a rush to finish the game since college was starting soon, and I only had a couple months to do it.
Fast forward to this boss, I was only on Normal yet I was STRUGGLING. I kept spamming all-hit attacks, even if they repelled or even didn’t work on other arms. I had Mona keep healing while my team members kept up either attacks or buffs. There were so many close calls, and I was even forced to use that one item which revives and heals EVERYONE fully.
MP ran out too...But I managed a win, heh.
I couldn’t do extreme modes like this, psssh, I applaud you.
I remember fighting Yaldabaoth for the first time and I called my team "Physical fuckers". Consisting of Ryuji, Yusuke, and Makoto with each of us dealing for the most part physical damage with Makoto and myself to buff or heal.

Pretty sure vanity means putting material stuff before actual friends, like madarame did. Meanwhile pride means thinking you can order anyone around just because. Later iterations of the bibble lumped them together as one thing, fun piece of bibble trivia for ya!

Missed opportunity for seven arms for the seven deadly sins which would make him attack 8 times in one turn; thus, making this challenge impossible without extreme luck or items and other things like that.
This is actually amazing the music really gives it this badass vibe and the whole section with the comments was really nice I truly hope for the best for this channel in 2020 so keep up with what your doing your fans will be here always supporting you and lets hope when p5r drops this channel finally gets the recognition it deserves

darkspin3000 Makoto’s a Wild Card. They can use every move. The Reaper nulls Light and Dark in P3 anyway.
Holy Toledo I’m referring to one of the most powerful attacks in the persona series, armageddon. It requires two personas, lucifer and satan, but it does the max value of damage in the game, effectively insta-killing most enemies in the game beside the enemies that go to different phases and the secret boss. It’s also an almighty attack so it bypasses immunities, in other words reaper cannot survive one attack from it.
Could you make a guide on how to get those ultimate personas? like the max stat ones. im a casual but i wanna try getting more into the game and was wondering how you have those sick personas
You will want to start with obtaining the skills you want onto the persona. Skill cards and fusing tricks (like making sure only the skills you can inherit are passed down). Then working on the stats are important. To make a max stat persona requires sacrificing another persona into the one you want leveled. When you see the screen for level up, the stats that will be raised are in yellow. Then its a matter of closing and opening the window until the stats you want raised are shown. Normally it is a once per day for the persona.... But if you save the persona into the compendium then either discard, fuse, or electric chair that version, draw from the compendium, and you can repeat the process.

@@spiritzion Black Viper is from Satan, and Morning star is from Lucifer, you want to exit the sacrifice screen, but not the velvet room, save and then sacrifice Lucifer or Satan to the persona you want the move on, if you don't get it, reload and try again

@@spiritzion Best magic user is Alice and Kaguya, especially Kaguya since you have more levels to work with, so you can steer her stats in the direction you desire easier, for the Auto party buffs, one of the treasure demons have all 3 so you can repeatedly sacrifice it to pass on the skills to whoever you want as a buffer
When I first fought the boss I didn’t know you could break the arms. I still managed to beat him without hurting the arms but it made the fight really difficult lol
that's why you always carry lucifer with his lovely morning star, that way you always hit everything :')

little tip i can give you, is having "enduring soul" on one of your personas , and have them have another ability you need (like concentrate or heat raiser) that way you can cheese death once and it spares you from having to heal during a turn, just save it for when you need it most. i used to do that in previous persona games and it helped a bit. i haven't played P5 myself, but i believe enduring soul prevents futaba from using final guard until it's been used.
