    I have a really bad relationship with my father, always had. I screamed 'I love you' to the mountain and it said 'I love you too' back. Now I'm really emotional because I've always wanted to have that sort of relationship with my father but I know it'll never be like that.

    • @anaaa8484
      @anaaa8484 Před 7 lety +9

      I know what this feels like... it's kinda funny, because I said "you're good" and it said back "i'm proud of you". how bittersweet this feels! the saddest part about this is that I wouldn't say "you're good" to my father. I wish so much he was -or, even, trying to be-, but... we don't even talk lately. sorry for writing all these under your comment, but, out all of these, I felt like you could understand me more. I hope everything gets better with your father, honestly. I know really well how much a fatherly figure is needed and how bad missing him is... I wish you all the best!! stay strong!!!

    The mountain was as tall as you could ever imagine, the path upwards easy and inviting. I searched all night and found the stone. It was a small slab and was covered in an ancient language. It was worth around 300 dollars.
    I then yelled to the mountain "Good bye ya old goof!" really energetically, and it replied "Salutations, young one".
    I'm confused but I will accept it.

    this was very cool. Im 47, my father died when I was 17, I dont remember him very much at all. (growing up he was always away at work) my mountain was dark, unclimbable, tho I didn't give up looking for my stone, it was easy to find after producing a torch, it was a diamond or some other white stone, maybe even a crystal, the size of my fist. 'Victory' was my shouted word, and I heard 'victorious' back-as an echo-tho it was a male voice.

    This test had me in tears. I'm not sure where to even begin. I saw the mountain and it was majestic yet...daunting. However I was excited to climb the mountain! I wanted to discover and learn. The journey was hard but rewarding. Some parts being tiresome and pushing me to exhaustion while other moments were peaceful and beautiful. I was always able to find shelter. I wanted to find the stone, I would not give up. I camped on the mountain determined to find this stone. It was a hand sized Opal...beautiful and to me, priceless, there is no monetary value. It is a treasure to me. Leaving the mountain I felt sad, I didn't want to leave but I knew I'd return, so my parting words were, "Thank you, I love you, I'll be back soon." The reply, "I love you more and yes, soon"...
    My self discovery in life was a challenge but finding me and being able to look back on my experiences now is mind boggling. The connection between my father and I has always been a strange one. We butt heads but we always love one another despite it all and funny enough, we are more similer to one another than anyone. I love my dad no matter what and I know deep down...he loves me. Thank you mind oddities.

    Fatherly figure in my life: "Huh...." It's very tall and covered in snow, but not impossibly huge (like Mt. everest).
    Whether I will ever realize that untapped potential: I start swearing to myself; it's colder with the sun setting...camp in a cave on the mountain.
    Feelings of self-worth: Sapphire; base is size of my palm; about 4 inches tall (It's quite big for a gem...but it's still just a gem). Priceless. Surprisingly light-weight.
    Reflection of my childhood memories I shared with my father: It was snowing, yet I was protected from the harsh winds and cold...and time flew by surprisingly fast.
    What I have always wanted to say, but have never had the courage to say: "Goodbye for now...get yourself warmer so I can come back and visit."
    My own idea about his feelings towards me: It laughed at me for calling it cold, but I heard a faint smile in the laughter (It meant well).

    I did say that I treasured the gifts my father gave me before he passed on. But If only I had apologized to him for the times I took advantage of his generosity.
    I still saw myself as a crystal, - deep blue in color- a rare gem that can be found nowhere else but that mountain. As I turned around to leave, the mountain spoke and said - "You're welcome and I hope you found what you have been looking for." I look forward to seeing both my father and mother again.
