There were three elections during the Second Republic, two was won by the soc-dems and one by the catholic conservatives. From these alone, I guessed that Spain was a your typical two-party system democracy, like the UK or USA, albeit a million times more unstable considering it imploded into a civil war.
But please, tell me, enlighten me about what thought and criticisms could get you persecuted by the Second Republic. I am actually really intrigued by this topic. I'm looking forward tó learning new things from you.
