Hey everyone:
In this video, I wanted to briefly discuss the study method I employed while taking the CPA exams.

Thanks!
Hi I’m currently studying AUD. Thanks for sharing! Your method seems very interesting. How did you go about the simulations?
Thanks, so for the Sims, I would do two each time for each chapters, I would do two sims. Should have said in the video, but 20 MCQs and 2 Sims. I didn’t care so much about the Sims grades, but need to keep doing them and you’ll start to see the pattern
If I was tired of doing MCQs, I’ll spend an hour or two just doing Sims
Do you just hope to get lucky with big4 work schedule when it's time to grind the CPA? Is it just "any time after busy season, before next busy season"?
Yes, I would say some luck is involved with your schedule. Normally Big4 auditors are busy from Jan-Mar, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have a deadline in May or September.
However there are times and breaks between these moments that you can use to your advantage to study for and pass your exams
Hi chris, m planning to enroll for CPA now n thinking for taking FAR first... Can you suggest for the materials, as all classes are releasing their material in oct22
I used Becker, and I liked that. I got Becker from my big 4 company that gave me an offer
Thank you for not making this video 10:09 long 🥲
No problem 😉
I am preparing for BEC exam and planning to appear in July. Would you be please help me to plan on how should i go forward with?
Is this your first time taking a CPA exam?
Hi any retake strategies for FAR ?
Yes, I had to retake 3 of the 4 exams multiple times!
If your using Becker, I would start with chapter 1 and do a set of 20 MCQs. I won’t move onto Chapter 2 until I pass a set of 20 questions with an 80% on Chapter 1.
Repeat this with Chapter 2. After I get an 80% or higher with a set of 20 questions for chapter 2, I won’t move onto chapter three until I pass with an 80% with a set of 40 questions with all the chapters I’ve gone through so far.
I would repeat this until you get through all the chapters.
Once you do that, you could restart the process, or start focusing on the weaker chapters until retake day.
Let me know if this helps!
@sanchita Nath, do you still need help planning? Let me know! I’ll gladly help
I'm seeing that when I'm doing this I'm actually learning the answers 😅
Hi Chris, want to know, if it's necessary to start my CPA Us Exam with a BEC first !, If Yes Why ?
I wouldn’t say it is necessary, as people has started with other exams and passed.
However, I argue BEC is a good confidence booster because it is the hardest of the bunch. However don’t be discouraged if you don’t pass the first or second time either. Sometimes you just need to get used to the exam and how it asks questions first.
My latest video also touches on the order of exams you could take, so I would give that a watch if you haven’t :)
@@chrisouch6517 For now i dont take Exam but i like to know witch one is better for me, 1 exam every 6 months , 2 years finished mt CPA US Exam. whats do you think Chris?
If you are studying for 6 months on one exam, I don’t personally think that would be a good idea. These exams hold a lot of information and you’ll forget the first stuff you studied after a few months. I think it’s best if you finish studying in 2 months and then take the exam. Then move to the next exam right away after passing. It’s doable, and you want to take the next exam as soon as possible. That is my suggestion
