This could have descended into competitive screaming and wailing, but they were just there celebrating one another's gifts, it was beautiful to witness. But singers like Patti LaBelle, are so rare and apart fromm the rest....here she is, pushing 80 yrs old, and she's still going from falsetto to 'high soprano' with ease. That IS NOT something that can be taught...thats just a talent that she was born with. This is why, she's become music royalty...because NO ONE sounds like her.
