It actually wasn't too bad as someone who is not a baker it seemed intimidating but once you brake up each part it's fairly easy. Jordan just takes his baking very seriously! haha I'm so glad you enjoyed watching us baked together. We had so much making it! We do need our farmers! 🥰

What a hoot!!!! I can see the dynamics in this marriage - "be serious Mailey"!! Pay attention!!! This is serious work!! At the beginning, Jordan looked bewildered as if you had kidnapped him and just pulled his blindfold off, and he had to make an appeal for someone to rescue him " THIS CAMERA". " Mum Help"!!!! But he warmed up to the idea - slightly (as long as he can mention bees), we know bees are important to all life, especially vegetation, without which, no animals, no food source, no humans (I think that is what I heard). I cannot believe how much work goes into making a Yule Log, never seen Marzipan actually made at home, we buy it ready made (I bet Jordan does not like that idea). Thank you for the duo show, it was hilarious. You must do it again sometime!! 🤪. I noticed the "aprons" that you made previously!! MERRY CHRISTMAS 🎄 from Scotland.
Oh most definitely the dynamic of our marriage. I the adult that won't grow up sooo I married someone that's an adult for the both of us! 😂😂😂 He was actually super excited to do this video with me it just took him warming up a bit to filming to get have his personality come out. @@MaileyElaine Marzipan is used a lot for traditional Wedding Cake. I found it hilarious that he was so serious about his baking. "don't mess with my cake" !! He would be a great chef!! He looked totally bewildered at the beginning, especially when you said " this camera"!! Lets have more couple videos and some bee info xxx

Love this video for the interaction between the two of you ❤ I'm also a huge fan of The Great British Bake Off, and an avid baker (and I am British!). If you don't want your Swiss Roll to crack (not such an issue for a Yule Log as it gets covered, but otherwise it's just dusted), then you need to roll it whilst it's still warm and pliable, fresh from the oven. Then it gets unrolled when it has cooled, to add the filling, and rolled back up 😊
