Non-consensual sex is closer to wrath as it’s an act of violence and generates less lust as only one party is actively sinning while the other is merely a victim.

Nahhhh, this is a misunderstanding of wrath and violence as concepts.
Non-consensual sex is a prideful form of lust, a belief that your will is higher than the will of the person you're violating. It has nothing to do with wrath.
Wrath doesn't mean violence. Wrath is anger or hatred. Someone sitting in their room, thinking about their hatred for social injustice, would technically be committing the "sin" of wrath.
People don't commit SA against someone else because of anger or hatred, they might use it to justify their actions, but it's lust and pride pushing them to those actions.
I'm an incredibly wrathful person, I have a seething hatred of lots of shit. But my wrath would never lead me to SA someone.

@@somerandommenomg this makes so much sense- it also connects to the characters in Hazbin (Valentino- a former human sent to the pride-ring is the greatest example of that…)
Edit: people aren’t understanding what I’m saying, I know sinners are stuck in the pride ring, I’m using Valentino as an example since he’s a direct example of pride being a battery to violent lust rather than pride because the previous comment made sense to me. Pride- in hazbin- extenuates other forms of sins in negative ways. Prideful lust leads to characters like Valentino, prideful wrath leads to Vaggie or Husk who end up lonely (though Vaggie has Charlie to balance her. I’m aware of the Hazbin lore, I promise 😭)

      very strong sexual desire
      verb
have a very strong sexual desire for someone.
So are we just gonna pretend both aren't the same thing? Lust is not black and white. Simply doing sexual activity for pleasure is considered lust as stated in Genesis. There's no strict morality of it. So lust can exist in the good, the bad, and the ugly. Ozzie benefits on any form of lust, but he believes lust is maximized with consent as there is practically no boundaries to the form of lust if consent is given.

Yep, if u watch the addict music video it's heavily implied Angel was assault in the limousine after the show. It was also applied at the end with he lyrics "feeling helpless" accompanying it
Which gives the impression this is an ongoing problem he can't solve himself
It's also applied in an official animatic, which the song used was actually named "Valentino"
In that video he was forced down and, if I'm remembering it right, tied down with lots of struggling to add to the scene
Whether he sexually assaults ALL of the sex workers actually working under him is kinda unknown since we only really ever saw him interacting with Angel. Besides the two side characters in the music video(which, they could have just been random npc's for all we know) there isn't much to go off of on anyone else
But it wouldn't surprise me if he treated all the workers in the same way seeing how he only thinks of them as property
      But yeah
Just gotta wait till the show comes out for more information on that front

I also like Ozzis line "Let me rephrase: I don't like....". He actually uses a healthy communication technique here. For example when you are arguing with someone: instead of saying "You always forget to do the dishes" the more healthy thing to say is "I am upset that the dishes aren't done because I had a long day and like a clean space when I get home. I would really like for you to do them before I get home". It doesn't immediately pass blame to the opponent and clearly communicates your desires and reasoning for said desire.
So instead of staying with "You shouldn't do this", Ozzy clearly states his feelings and desires towards the matter. They are without doubt the healthiest couple in hell.

Both draw the line at what is effectively the same net negative for their sins. People destroying themselves like that will ruin her honey as it kills the buzz. Force being used does much the same. Not only is the lust of one person not present but the other is focusing on completely different sins by enjoying the breaking and domination of another person. If there was a demon of suffering they would be all over that. These two however find it taints their sins.

It kind of makes sense since the Sins in this universe seem to operate on a Blue-and-Orange Morality that seems centered on how to "properly" and "effectively" commit to their sin. So someone like Asmodeus is fine with cheating (as that is usually all about lust), but despise r*pe (because it's about dominance rather than lust).
It also, in a weird way, explains him being in a committed relationship with Fizz. Love and Lust are different, but not antithetical. They can even affect one another. You may, for example, feel more lust for someone you love than an objectively more attractive stranger. So Asmodeus isn't even acting against his own nature; his relationship with Fizz is simply an incredibly focused version of Lust.

Wrath may lead to murder, Lust to adultery, Gluttony can lead to overdose, Pride to manipulation, Greed may lead to stealing, Envy to bullying, Sloth can lead to neglecting the spirituality (people think Sloth is laziness, but it is just about spiritual laziness, so not praying to god or stuff like this, I guess)

I think it’s because while the concept of the sins themselves are mainly bad, you don’t have to be a completely horrible person to commit them, and some of the sins aren’t exactly “evil”. Like with Lust, you can basically boil committing the sin down to just having the desire to have sex, which you can argue isn’t actually a sin at all if it’s consensual. Take that mentality with Ozzie, and he genuinely just likes the pleasure that comes with Lust, and doesn’t want to harm anyone.
Now obviously there are sins that are rooted in doing evil, like Greed or Wrath. I think that’s why Mammon is an asshole, he’s the embodiment of an actually evil sin.

In itself, Wrath can serve as motivation, though I am not sure if Satan will be like this. (but the healthy way to use one's wrath/anger is to direct it in healthy outlet and to try to change what is angering you, if it can be changed, that is.) Though it is also one that is easy to villify too... Though, I doubt that Satan will be however wrath is depicted as usually (a hot headed person that usually barely has any forth thought)
Sloth is a sin that tend to be hard to turn into pure evil sin. At best, it would be about being irresponsible, though I wonder if in this version of hell, Sloth may be fused with Depression (who used to be seen as a sin), which would explain why Belphegor created (?) the happy pills. It was originally for her (I think remebering Beelzebub to have refered to Belphegor as female)
For more explaination about the Depression part... From how I understand it, the belief was that God was Joy and thus a good believer would not be sad/depressed, which would be about being distant from God. (and Sloth is also about being distant from God, but instead by showing "spiritual laziness" rather than the laziness that we recognize, plus depressed people sometime do go through the loss of motivation, which make them appear as lazy, so those two sins have a link)

@@kingcamelot1395Pride in the Bible can more accurately be described as narcissism in modern English. It's not about being proud of your accomplishments, per se, but treating yourself as above others or as perfect. Pride in the Bible isn't feeling good about yourself, but allowing it to pervert you into doing things that would be deplorable, under the logic and reason that you deserve it. It's why Pride as a sin can by proxy lead to other sins. It can lead to Wrath because you believe someone else deserved it. It can lead to Lust or Envy because you believe you deserve it. It can lead to Sloth or Gluttony because you believe you're above something. And it can easily lead to Greed from the delusion that you deserve it more than others.

      Pride: the want for superiority
The reason why they are called “Deadly” is because each one of these desires, if not disciplined or conditioned, will lead to self-destruction.

Such is the nature of greed.
Greed, unlike most of the other sins involved, is an aberration. Wrath is natural and part of life, Lust and Gluttony are literally why we reproduce and eat to live, being slothful from time to time is fun, Pride in one's accomplishments is emboldening. Besides arguably Envy, most of the sins are self-contained aspects that are only expressly "Bad" when over-indulged.
But Greed? Greed is a parasitic sin, a sin that is nothing on its own because it has to leech off other things to sustain itself, take from other things, all to sate an addiction to possessing wildly more than you need for no other reason than "because you want it."
Greed is exploitation, manipulation, and even at best is only an addictive personality flaw being mitigated. At its Worst it's an amalgamation of the worst aspects of every other sin packaged and assembly-lined to sell soulless parodies (Like Fizz' doll) to the masses.
Greed is the first sin we've seen that might actually Deserve the title. Greed is the cancer cell that rebels and steals resources from the rest of the body, killing it to perpetuate only themselves.
