+DJLORDYASIN42 Well said man... I spent 25 years with most of my focus on the beatmatch whilst spinning, and all the sync button does is free me up to be even more creative. It's an evolution in the artform. DM has embraced it. I even think he's that little bit better now... if that's poss.

What an awesome mix by a master. I love this show because you get to watch up close and personal, exactly how each of these DJs work. I first saw David live back in 1998. It's great to see how he mixes up close with the new technology.
I remember seeing him @ The Sound Factory and The EndUp in San Francisco in the 90's, just watching him work the turntables and the crowd on the dance floor, I swear I became one with the music.
From minute 15 to 25 is the badest/ funk-ah-delic track ever!! I've danced with some very beautiful women in my life because of this track!! It will make anyone in the world 🌎 want to dance and get their groove on.😎

If the sync button is lit up its being used. It flashes when linked to say a djm 2000 that I know for sure. Doesn't matter if sync is used anyway, beat mixing is the easiest of dj skills. We know this guy can mix with or without. It's about the music, how it's played, where it's mixed etc. the guy is a legend and needs to prove nothing sync or not. Wish people would stop using this silly argument. Sync gives a dj more time to do other things. I like the sync button it's a good useful feature sometimes
I mostly use it for emergencies, when I need to get the next track quick.
no one can say anything about David .if he's using sync yes we all use auto in our cars so what ??? he's the proper legend !! and always be!!!.. he defined this scene... so what??? personally Im a international dj travelled many countries and producer for almost 20 years with many worldwide hits... and david is one of my first influences to be a producer and dj ...respect all the way david !!! you the man !!! hands always in the air for you !!!..and personally after all these years of playing with 1210s and cdjs ... I use sync to death... all the way !!! and yes darren is right it's fuckin' easy to beat mix if you really want to do it !! and in this mix the way he's mixing his C&C set me free remix huge!!!

this guy is a wizard, amazing song layering, accapellas, fx and sampling. basically creating a new song between mixes. and no he isnt using auto beat syncro. eg on 26.21 you can hear deck / channel 4 slightly out during the mix hence why he adjusts the pitch speed to phase the beat back in sync.
Amazing trully a legend. His remixes were the best when I first started spinning.
I like his older stuff from the 90's better. It had more soul and realness.

For those talking about the sync button, i heard a lot of his mixes with vinyl and his technique is flawless, now he is using 4 cdjs, firing loops/samples and using fxes on individual channels, i preffer not to use it when im mixing only with 2 cdjs, but sometimes its ok to use it when you do 4 cdjs, and you dont care when you dont need to prove anything... its just a faster way to do what you know, and focus on other things... great set !
