    This was super helpful, thanks. Only thing missing is the export/render step. What's the ideal format for projecting? H.264? Mov? MP4?

      I have the same question, did yo find out it? I heard about a domemaster format for server players for a big dome like in a planetarium, but i dont know how to convert

      my local planetarium uses frame sequences instead of an actual video file, maybe it depends on what software is used to project onto the dome?
