- Integrated Physics Simulation - for After Effects
Due to the release of version 2 everything from 9:12 is now obsolete. Watch the What's new for v2 video here: • Physics Now v2 - What'...
Easily simulate any visible layers in After Effects with this fast and powerful 2D physics simulation plugin.
Tag a layer as DYNAMIC or STATIC. Then hit SIMULATE and watch your simulation playback on your After Effects timeline.
You work with your simulation directly inside After Effects.
You will be simulating like a pro in no time!

Great stuff! Can't wait to use it in my next project. Right off the bat it would be great for the simulator to be Z-axis aware
Collision groups are coming. That might solve it for you. But maybe I could do some automated collision groups depending on z-axis. Not a bad idea, I'll think about it.
So now we waiting for soft body release ! :) Love idea !!
Haha! Yeah, sure. I think it will happen, but I need a liiitle more time for that. :)
@@crunchycreatives No, no. We need it by tomorrow evening ;)
Do you have review copies? I'd love to do an overview / tutorial on my youtube channel this looks very cool
This is clever. I´m a frequent (happy) user of Newton. But being able to control inpoints and outpoints inside after effects, not having to open externally has some really clear advantages.
What are your thoughts on this vs Newton?
@@DeadbatteryVT1300 I would miss some features (at least from viewing this tutorial), for example the advanced setup of particle attraction/repulsion in groups, being able to link together particles etc. But - for the fast simulations (most of them are) I would prefer this I believe.
How do you do this with no gravity? Add some wiggle to the spheres but they react to each other.
Hi Brian. Turning off gravity is easy, but you can't do the wiggle you want. This will probably be possible in v3 when I'm done with that. But there's still a lot of work left before it's ready.
Best I can think of would be to set gravity to zero and then give alle the circles a random initial speed and angular speed. Does that make sense?
thanks ♥
Do you have any plans to add other features?
Hi. Definitely. A bigger free update with more features is planned for late summer / fall this year. Which features exactly will be in that I can’t guarantee at this point. But even after that development will continue. This is the first version and my main concern has been to get the whole workflow just right. From now on I will be working on adding new features. My own list is already pretty long. :)
If you have specific feature request, I would love to hear them. Put them in here or send them to support@crunchycreatives.com
@@crunchycreatives Thank you !
It’s like Newton but inside of AE.
this is so much easier than Newton
it doesn't work with iamge for some reason. Objects fly upwards. Does it work with image and videos? Mask or mattes?
Hi. It does work with images or videos. Please watch this czcams.com/video/f97YZRpNhtM/video.html
I have linked to the specific time in the video, but that whole video is really important for understanding how PN works, so you should watch it all. Let me know if it still isn't working for you and I'll try to help. :)
@@crunchycreatives It works! Neat!
Looks like a nice alternative to Newton. Alas, your site is blacklisted at my company for some reason...
Hi Ed. Is crunchycreatives.com/products/physicsnow/ blocked at your company? Not happy to hear that, but thank you for telling me. Can you tell me which firewall you are running? If you don't want to inform everybody on youtube, you can send it to support@crunchycreatives.com. It would be a big help for me.
Works with element 3d?
No. I guess you might be able to simulate vector layers and connect them to element 3D, not sure. But Physics Now! is only for 2D simulation.
Amazing tutotial bro ☺really interesting, what a idea awesome script 'PHYSICS' you are a great mann thanks you bro. How to purchase this pluggin, how much is its cost???
#AMCGRAPHICMEDIA
Hi! I'm happy you like it!
Yes I realised I forgot to put the price on the site. That will be fixed soon. But the plugin costs $129. Until may 7, 2019 you get 25% off the price. Use this code: simulate25
@@crunchycreatives i am video editor and a motion graphic artist, i am interested in afterefects, i like your script it is very nice , i try to introduce this script to my friends, i am from india(kerala ),
@@amcgraphicmedia3657 That would be really awesome. Thank you!
