    Great stuff! Can't wait to use it in my next project. Right off the bat it would be great for the simulator to be Z-axis aware

      @crunchycreatives  Před 5 lety +1

      Collision groups are coming. That might solve it for you. But maybe I could do some automated collision groups depending on z-axis. Not a bad idea, I'll think about it.

    Do you have review copies? I'd love to do an overview / tutorial on my youtube channel this looks very cool

    This is clever. I´m a frequent (happy) user of Newton. But being able to control inpoints and outpoints inside after effects, not having to open externally has some really clear advantages.

      What are your thoughts on this vs Newton?

    • @ScienceGuides
      @ScienceGuides Před 5 lety +4

      @@DeadbatteryVT1300 I would miss some features (at least from viewing this tutorial), for example the advanced setup of particle attraction/repulsion in groups, being able to link together particles etc. But - for the fast simulations (most of them are) I would prefer this I believe.

    How do you do this with no gravity? Add some wiggle to the spheres but they react to each other.

    • @crunchycreatives
      @crunchycreatives  Před 3 lety +2

      Hi Brian. Turning off gravity is easy, but you can't do the wiggle you want. This will probably be possible in v3 when I'm done with that. But there's still a lot of work left before it's ready.
      Best I can think of would be to set gravity to zero and then give alle the circles a random initial speed and angular speed. Does that make sense?

    Do you have any plans to add other features?

    • @crunchycreatives
      @crunchycreatives  Před 5 lety +3

      Hi. Definitely. A bigger free update with more features is planned for late summer / fall this year. Which features exactly will be in that I can’t guarantee at this point. But even after that development will continue. This is the first version and my main concern has been to get the whole workflow just right. From now on I will be working on adding new features. My own list is already pretty long. :)
      If you have specific feature request, I would love to hear them. Put them in here or send them to support@crunchycreatives.com

      No. I guess you might be able to simulate vector layers and connect them to element 3D, not sure. But Physics Now! is only for 2D simulation.

      Yes I realised I forgot to put the price on the site. That will be fixed soon. But the plugin costs $129. Until may 7, 2019 you get 25% off the price. Use this code: simulate25
