there’s actually an easier way if you want to do it faster:
1. go to overlays and stock videos/images
2. click the white image
3. go to mask and filmstrip
4. make it vertical and adjust the dots/arrows on the sides to make it glow
5. put 1 key frame at the start and 1 at the end
6. Make the first one on the left side of the screen
7. Make the second one on the right side
8. Ur done! Just make sure in between when the clip changes to the next one that the white strip is in the middle for a cleaner transition!

easier: Part the clip where you want the strip then click on the white between the clips, then transitions come, select the 1st one

There iz an easier way:
•Go to text
• type in I
•make sure its white
• add the glow effect (make it white)
•zoom it up to the screen so its line
• add keyframes between two clips and make sure it is fast

i think i do the fastest way possible 😭:
1. go to text and type an “i”
2. make it to to the size that i covers the whole screen
3. do the same keyframe as the person in the vid

theres a faster version
1. type 'I' in the text and set luminance to 50
2. put animations in: slide in right and out animation: slide right
3. adjust the speed to make it look good.
and ur done!

or just go to text and do either and uppercase i = I
lowercase L = l
this really long line thing = |
a slash and then angle it strait = / or \
etc.
Then make the text bold, then add glow effect on the text (adjust it to your liking)
After that use key frames and adjust timing and yea. easier way :))
this was not for hate though. if you'd like a thicker line then this is definitely the way to go.
