Netherlands struck two goals in four first-half minutes as they recorded a 2-0 friendly victory over Spain at the Amsterdam ArenA on Tuesday night.
The last time the two countries met, at last year's World Cup finals in Brazil, the hosts claimed a comfortable 5-1 victory over the then World and European champions and Spain were looking for revenge.
However goals from Stefan de Vrij and Davy Klaassen - his first for his country - saw the Oranje dominate the first half.
