1) The first one is usually compared to Snoop cuz of his name... blid-dog (blid in Tunisian means smartass/annoying) ! Hence the Snoop dog style he started the track with... he was talking about smoking a joint, so it was only fair to imitate snoop... so it was more of a shoutout to snoop than an imitation! At the end, he even says "better than the Americans" in snoop dog's voice (sarcasm/irony), for those who compare! 2) Usually Spitting fast remind us of Busta or Em... but if we're gonna compare; Klay is usually compared to Pac/50 (lyrics/rebel/thug/political) 2) North Africa (& Africa in general) was colonized for a long time that every country in it is now at least bilingual! It's not that they can't rap without using English, it's the fact that they can rap in any language! The Tunisian dialect is literally a mixture of Arabic, Berber, French, Turkish & Italian 🤷🏻 3) You only reacted to the beat & the flow,...you didn't even pay attention to the rhymes... + we all know that rap is most importantly bars and lyrics.. and this track is simply loaded! 4) Em, Busta, Snoop...can't sing about the hood no more... but these guys never left it...the guys behind them are not just for the show. I'm a huge fan of American rap... it's the OG...Pac, Biggie, Nas, Em, Jay... they are the pillars... we're not forgetting that... but if it wasn't for Jay, Em, Wayne & Kendrick right now, we'll only hear rappers bragging about how much money & side chicks they have. The Tunisian rap is different...it's revolutionary, it goes against governments, it speaks the language of the poor, no bling bling as you see, no side chicks... just the hood and deep bars. & that's the beauty of it.
