Omg that was one of the most in sync improv dances I’ve ever seen!!!! They both flowed so gracefully and gracefully. I think he was really enjoying how good she was and vice versa!! That was truly amazing!!! ❤️

I think they are dance partners with a repertoire of skills, so they've probably practiced something like that before. It's still awesome though!
Why do you think they are partners? The whole point of this competition is you don’t know who you will partner with or the music you will dance to. All of these people have a whole host of dance moves. But you are wrong if you think there is any kind of rehearsal between these two
@@shannonthornton9911 um, not positive, but pretty sure that he posted a clip in shorts and said that she is his routine partner and they just happened to draw each other for improv so they were having fun with some more difficult moves. Not positive, but the clothes look the same.

This is one of my favourite things about dance. You don't even have to speak the same language to have this amazing communication.
I don't know much about west coast but i know enough to say this is absolutely INCREDIBLE. You guys are CAPTIVATING to watch, I was absolutely blown away!!! Such phenomenal following and consistent and solid leading. The elasticity, the flow, the musicality, the creativity... absolutely incredible. I think this is the best dancing I've ever seen!!!

Nah this is definitely improvised. You can see their wheels turning as they think of what to do next. There are a couple of missed cues but they roll with it when it happens and and move to the next beat. Definitely improvised but I'd bet my hat that these two have danced together on a regular basis. He knew what she could do and put her in the right position many times. These two are immensely talented. The footwork alone. Both their little glides throughout the whole event were so tantalizing.

it’s def improv, but they are dance partners!! so they can read and communicate with each other so seamlessly that it seems rehearsed. you can watch west coast swing jack and jill competitions to see people dance random songs with random partners. they are so good, and you can fully get a feel for how good these dancers are at improv!
It is in fact improv but they know each other so well, each other's nuisances, their cues, etc they make it look seamless.

Having some leader experience in salsa, it seems incredible to me, that this is completely improv. Do they have at least some minimum prepration time before, e.g. some minutes to hear the music before together and agree on some key points in the music?
No, they choose names of who they will be dancing with and the DJ usually chooses the song.
His lead and responsiveness incredible, please tell me they’re dating now if not already… hard to find partners like that!
