ICAY - 28 June 2024

In 2024, the ‪@societeastronomiquedefrance‬ is organising the International Congress of the Astronomical Youth abbreviated ICAY. This initiative, patronised by Hélène Courtois and Jean-Philippe Uzan, aims to bring together and unite the future generation of researchers. We believe that forging solid links in a constantly changing world is a prerequisite for building a shared future.
This first event will take place on 28, 29 and 30 June 2024 at the Ecole Normale Supérieure de la rue
d’Ulm (ENS-PSL), Paris. Bringing together around a hundred students will provide an opportunity for an active and inspiring exchange between young people and researchers, through lectures, round tables and informal discussions. The French capital is the perfect setting to welcome the many delegations expected.
The ICAY is therefore open to all forms of cooperation, enabling us to further expand the field of possibilities and push back the frontiers so that everyone can experience the world’s wonder that the common good of science awakens in us all.
