A helpful tip for Chapter 4 is to have you staff members and normal members connect with one another, this way when handling situations and hosting events you wouldn't feel nervous talking to random people and instead feel like you're talking to your friends!
This helped me out when I released Staff Applications and made it easier for me to pick out people!
And how do you have that happen?
@@notrafficrole-play400 You could have the staff become friends by making sure that the staff talk in public chatrooms and sometimes act a little non-professional to be able to connect on the same level as your members!
do yk how to find people for staff applications? im having trouble finding people who knows how to run a server and i dont have any friends to help manage it with me
@@nessa9363this is a 2 month late reply, and I must say that I'm pretty good and experienced at managing servers, you can hire me if you want to.
A thing to know is if you're making a server that's for absolutely everything, MAKE IT LITERALLY ABSOLUTELY EVERYTHING OMG!!! People say "My server is for everything!" but then they're not making it like that. Try your absolute best and either get a theme and FLOURISH IT or make one that's for everything and ACTUALLY MAKE IT EVERYTHING!!! People try to think out of the box.
Thanks man, I've recently been put in charge of a server that's been dying (amount of members from around 300 to 100 and no one is really active anymore), so I can use all the tips I can get to grow it again and keep it active.

Here is a little extra; If you want people to boost your server, give exclusive perks (e.g frequent giveaways, pic perms, etc…) and people would want to boost!

For my server I log in on an alt and spam hentai in general and then ban the alt just to spice things up a bit

One more thing I would add is having cool custom emotes. I've joined a lot of servers just to use their custom emotes.

You see I have a set time BUT we dont enforce it and we have a Time off channel so if you have school or something you can still be on the team but have a break and tbh basically everyone who says they need some time get accepted for time off. The reason is sometimes i need time off so why can I have time off and the staff can not
so would you need the partner program for your server to go public? just asking!
It just so happens that my server is the only one for this theme...but it's because it's insanely narrow.

I own a server that has 1,277 members that is growing fast I wish discord didn't close the discord partnership membership. I get a lot of new members but if I get 20% to stay for at least a week every week is hard to gage. I hope they open something similar in the future

I have been working on my discord server for multiple days ! I’m still figuring out how to add tickets and add the joining greeting! But sadly I’m not figuring it out too well 😭
Add the mee6 bot and search a tutorial it’s easy and search add the ticket bots then search up a tutorial hope this helps it helped me
I wish they would do one for rp server because there is a lot of different things getting a popular rp server
miming crypto actually damages your gps (if you mine on your gpu). If you have brand new gpu and you mine all day long, you can loose up to 2-3 years of gpu's lifespan. You might try other mining alternatives like nicehash.

As much as I have tried all these things, I can't grow my discord. I made it for my book series, other arts, and games. I have tried game nights, as well as anime nights, movie nights, and events related to my series. Advertising has not worked and we have plenty of places to chat. Disboard didn't work either. Idk what to do, I am always working on the server but no one does anything. What do I do?
Is your server user-friendly (can they easily navigate throughout the server and find the main chat?)
Is your server cluttered with channels and confusion?
Do you have a hierarchy of roles that are rewarded to users who chat consistently (Bots like Arcane do this)
Do you have a theme that is unique or a specific topic that isn’t everywhere on Discord?
Answer those questions for yourself and consider them as possible reasons as to why you’re not seeing a growth in members.

If youre under 100 u can use the yggdrasil bot to advertise.If u dont know what yggdrasil is its a bot that lets u talk w random ppl.U can get 10 new members easily or even more.
