Macie is the only thing that motivates me to play still. Seeing the technicality that he brings always inspires me to look at the game a different way.

I used to watch Macie Jay all the time. To this day IMO he is with out question the best R6 player I have ever seen, his knowledge of individual maps is incredible.

Macie the clip at the very beginning was probably my favorite out of them, because you saw what they were doing and made a strategic call that allowed you to win the game. You saw they were relying heavily on vertical plays so you picked Capitao, covered specific areas, then made your way inside for the free plant. I personally wouldn't have thought of that. My first thought would be that they're playing upstairs, I should contest to distract them for the team and I know I would've lost. However, you calling and saying out loud what you were thinking actually gave me insight on more strategic plays. I could look up strats and site set ups all day, but I couldn't simply understand the inner workings without someone explaining it, I just don't learn that way. But you repeating what you're thinking gave me a better analytical perspective. Please keep doing that

Oh, so that's what that hole was for. I often make holes to watch window entry points from below / above but that was really ingenious.
okay the first clip just shows how easy it is to counter something. he knew what they were doing, picked an operator he saw fit for the counter and did it. and it was so easy too. the teammates helped him of course. like the gate take was so good. but everything else was just smoking up going in playnting done. awesome

i love how at the beginning macie is breaking down the defender set up and picking his op around what he has drones out, and then through skill and map knowledge leads his team to the win. Meanwhile i do the same thing, granted with far less skill, and am killed by a cheater 20 seconds into the rnd and turn off the game. I really do miss playing r6 its just so 50/50 if i get to actually play the game or not.
Just got back into siege about 4 years, very happy to be playing again but solo q is so tough when your team rush enemies constantly and dont defend site... not changed one bit really
