That's insane...
A lot of money changes hands in farming just not very much stays with farmers . Most of it goes to big ag and chemical companies. As far as the farm bill most of that goes to pay for foodstamps. Not much goes to the family farmers. You don't like the farm bill then let the price of farm goods go up to pay the farmers fair prices and see how you like that . No I'm not a farmer only dream of being one but i have more respect for family farmers than most any other occupations. I love to pass a field with a tractor at work or cows grazing etc

Yes, a small amount goes to farmers. School lunch programs and Food stamps account for the majority , let the farm bill reflect true AG . Set up a different agency for consumer handouts. Where's my rolls? Guess I'll keep farming with my 2010 F250
