This is very reminiscent of Lineage 2. Certain bosses would drop a specific epic item and would never let the other guilds get in to fight it. I think it took me about a year to finally get a Baium ring 🤔
Yeah, its kinda similar but they do have PVE Bosses too for all of them so its not too bad, but thats when the swiping comes in... If you dont get it, chances are you can swipe to get it! haha

This is what happened in L2 too. People hate losing.. so they all join the side that starts winning and the winning side likes to win harder, so they let them. Its the biggest issue with OWpvp games.
There was years from when L2 launched before it turned this bad. Back in C1-C6 there was so many guilds fighting each other. I guess it partly depended on the server you played on.
Cant agree more they need hard limits and aliance should be just 4 guilds thats the whole point of aliance either its official or not. Also siege felt to me like there was way too many players, if only aliance (4guilds) can play vs other aliance, then that would feel way better and still have insane number of players fighting. I hope they make siege instanced, preregistered event where all aliances doesnt matter how strong or weak could participate and fight for a place on leaderboard for their share of reward and not just sweaty a holes.
Same thing is going to happen to global since PVP rewards you with premium currency, so there is a heavy incentive to form up and cheat the system. The thing about Lineage II for example that made mass pvp so enjoyable was you did it just to grief and get loot, that's it. NC Soft wants this game to have mass appeal but they designed systems in place that make it very niche and that is cannibalizing itself, and its going to get worse with Global since we don't go nearly as hard as Korea does when it comes to guild focused be on at X time everyday type of content. so eventually you will end up with a game where most of the guilds are dead and its just the top 1% controlling everything while the rest are just left as fodder.

Hello @Danneh, you could chew on gold duping, furtnite duping, dungeon abusing, lags ("Caused by PG" :D :D :D :D , I still remember this trolling) in New World and play it for so long, but this T&L issue is the real reason to quit:) ? I did mention multiple times when I was in discord that T&L is very very close to Lineage2 and it is pretty much L3 with different mechanics. L2 Crest (ppl changing it in the middle of war/siege to confuse enemies), Clan Wars, Open PvP, Castle Seiges, Territory Wars , Massive alliances and so much more. Anyway I am sure we will see each other playing World Wide T&L release :) thanks for sharing!
I've played the beta and I'm fairly excited to play when the game releases in NA. I am a little curious about shot calling but I haven't found any guides or anything like that on it, do you have any tips or would be able to make even a short video on it if possible? True, true and true again. Been playing on Asota for over 3 months rn. Even when i am not really PvP player, we were ready for tax deliveries and for Castle siege as a small guild (single guild without alliance - around 20 players active at that time) and they just "abuse" the system. It was awful... Whats even worse, AGS give all those EU and NA zergs over hunders of keys to their Beta and we get 0 in our guild. We even was in top 20 in guilds, have few people who are in Beta sign up for over 6 or 7 months, been playing for months and we get nothing :D That much for AGS trying to watch whats happening in KR ... I wonder how much they can change anything anyway being just distributor of the license. Outside connectivity and server management, content wise they shouldn't have a say too much.
T&L's alliance system just feels like a lesser version of Eve's alliance system. And all the stuff you didn't like about alliances being able to block content, I love those aspects that are in Eve. Why be on the weaker side?
Most people dont think the way you do! lineage 2 was just like this. but if you have ONE good party you can fight the strongest allies because they just suck at PVP, thats what im hoping can happen here. since this is the closest thing to L3 we will ever see.
It is just stupid seeing so many HP/mana bars and so many efects at the same time. I don't understand why there must be so much of effects that player is unable to even see what is going on? Can anyone tell me why fighters and knights... need special effects??? Why not ONLY MAGE? It would make game normal and in a large sieges you could at least see what is going on...
I am just struggling to understand. The full game was released last year. And surely when you go to twitch there is people actively streaming the Korean version of the game. Now why then have a closed open bata test for the west. Where everything regarding the bata is kept in a hush hush. I mean it's not like we all can just go watch other people play the full game. So why the secret regarding the western release then.
Sounds like what happened in Warhammer Online years ago. The developers are 100% to blame for this. You have to design your game in such a way where it doesn't lend itself to this zergfest shitshow. People will always take the path of least resistance and game the system in their favor whenever possible.

This is 100% why PvP games fail. You have these massive zerg guilds, some guilds of which WOULD be competition for one another, instead form an alliance and just dominate the rest of the game. Then six months later, they're looking around and wondering why everybody has left the game. It's those types of players/guilds that totally lack self-awareness of the ill effects of that kind of gameplay. It makes the community poorer and weaker in every way imaginable. So when it comes to a game like that, a lot of times if it dies, you don't have to look much further than the community itself.
Maybe you should do the beta and feed all this back to Amazon you where proper hyping TL for months I wouldn't say the game is in a bad place it just needs some tweaking

I stopped playing 2 months ago because of all the content ( that I feel ) is gatekept. The only real content to progress your character is your 3 daily dungeons and 10 contracts. The contracts can be done in less than 10 minutes and the dungeons can be done with a good group in less then an hour as well. LITERALLY everything else gives absolutely pointless rewards that don't help towards progression at all , if anything it's laughable. Graphics are amazing, mechanics are cool, but that lack of content that you can grind for hours is really killer.
Yeah, they deffo added more content over the months, loads of PVE, more dungeons and the open world dungeons were good fun, but the gear farming and pvp elements kinda got messed up but players haha! Hopefully AGS take on board players feedback for Global...
@@Danneh Yeah I've been keeping up with everything new that get's added but at the end of the day no matter how much dungeons they add you can still only do 3 a day, they can add 80 dungeons but only being able to do 3 is just a joke lol. Unless they increase the drop rates from mobs/ events then the gear grind will continue to be horrendous. But hey, some people will like it.
@@ironskater121, NCSoft added ways, through events that you can increase the amount of dungeons you can do per day. There is an updated (noticble higher) drop chance rate for scematics and gear outside dungeons. Ultimately - I agree that you feel restricted by the amount of chances you have to obtain loot from dungeons. The RNG element there is slightly devastating :D

@@ironskater121 with each event you get NPC in the major cities which sales items for tokens. Those tokens are gathered by doing the event tasks. 1 of those items are actually the dungeon points which are needed to open the chest after you have defeated the last boss.
While i agree with you that the zerg is a problem in any mmo pvp game its for sure not devs fault vut our fault as a community. Devs are doing the right moves and trust me some servers u gonna get decent guild leaders and the game will be balanced and nice ans some other will be zerged. Maybe make caravan an instance pvp evebt for guild vs guild ? Ok u still gonna have the siege zergs but thats gonna be the politics pcp of the server i can leave with that, but everything else we sgould avoid the zerg

oh wow, the same happen (no surprises there) in shadowbane and asheron's call darktide pk server ( my favorate kind of pvp server a free for all pvp anywhere and anyplace), big guilds and alliances take over the server and the game is over. today, I still prefer GW2 WvW because to me it the most fair pvp even when your server had low population (so many enemies I level so fast and I don't have to go to far to see some action), also love roaming in WvW fo much fun fighting especially good pvpers. yeah it looks like I'm gonna do a wait and see on this game and see if the devs can fix these big problems. time will tell.

There is "leveling pass" - as you level up you get additional rewards to the regular ones. There is battle pass - 4 weeks based. There are skins for armor and weapons. The market between players is based on currency, which can be bought with IRL money. An item with some value has dropped and instead of using it, I can place it on the market so that someone can use their IRL money to buy it. So you do not really need IRL money to participate in the market, just make it easier.

GW2 made the numbers game very fun if you were on the lower end. T&L combat makes it very hard to fight back vs many numbers
its not we defended castle in lineage 2 with 45 people against 300 organization and skill

How this game earn money? Is it P2W?
There is "leveling pass" - as you level up you get additional rewards to the regular ones.
There is battle pass - 4 weeks based.
There are skins for armor and weapons.
The market between players is based on currency, which can be bought with IRL money. An item with some value has dropped and instead of using it, I can place it on the market so that someone can use their IRL money to buy it. So you do not really need IRL money to participate in the market, just make it easier.
