    Classic Terrytoon. Over the limit music and sound effects! My favorite part is this music with the walking Rhino. Bass sax! Love it!

    Aaaaa estás joyas de la animación de Terry Toon y demás exponentes de la vieja y querida escuela .
    Me hacen sentir nostalgia del mundo que se tomaba todo a broma para sobrellevar las dificultades de la vida.
    Sentimientos como el amor romántico el respeto la consideración y el buen humor se volvieron cosa de un pasado duro y crudo pero con sentido y propósito .
    El de tener un futuro algo más amable y tolerante
    Ahora comprendo la tristeza de los mayores cuando ven un sueño transformado en pesadilla carente del sentido que alguna vez le dió razón a la lucha por vivir y morir en paz
    Para nuestra desgracia la vida se volvió una broma cruel y sin gracia😢

    Not a bad cartoon, and there were a few nice gags like the inside out lion (kind of creepy that), all the animals laughing at the end, and the Flintstone's style landing gear. But for the most part it was only so so, even though it was nice to see Gandy and Sourpuss, one of my favorite toon duos, especially since I don't remember ever seeing this before.

      Bill Nolan did the exact same type of gag for the oswald cartoons over at Walter Lantz for about 3 years and animated all of them.

      @67nairb Před 5 lety

      We can continue our discussion over at THROWING THE BULL until after the 500 comments. I don't remember you replying to me week ago. You replied to a comment I made 3 years ago which had nothing to do with my concern about our correspondence. My reply was from 3 years ago before we began our correspondence with each other.
      OT, if the 1960's was the most the turbulent decade in American history, 1968 was the most turbulent year of the 1960's. It seemed that sanity had been completely lost in horror. This year is the golden or 50th anniversary of that year or should I say the dark anniversary of that year for it was truly dark; there was nothing golden about it. But I don't have to tell you that. It was the year of the TET Offensive in Vietnam; an overwhelming military defeat but political success for the communists and an overwhelming military success but political defeat for America and it's South Vietnamese ally. The year Martin Luther King Jr. was assassinated in Memphis and six months later Robert Kennedy in Los Angeles; the year that leftist students took control of Columbia University because the administration was sending money to the Vietnam War effort, a war the students were opposed to; the year of the terrible riots at the DNC in Chicago between police and anti-war protesters. Nevertheless VPOTUS Humphrey was nominated for POTUS but in the midst of turmoil. And this turmoil would not be confined to America; there were massive riots in Paris by students of the Sorbonne; a railway strike which paralyzed the French economy, France feared a communist takeover. the Soviet and Warsaw Pact invasion of Czechoslovakia, the war in Biafra in Nigeria, and student protests in cities all over the world like Mexico City, London Brussles and Tokyo. It was a year completely out of control. But sanity seemed to returning to America with the election of Richard Nixon as POTUS. The Democrats seemed to have lead America into chaos; the GOP proposed order and it looked like a reality. But sanity left us a year later with the Manson murders.
      One far less tragic event happened in 1968; Terrytoons stopped producing cartoons. But the studio wouldn't close it's doors until after the death of Paul Terry 3 years later.
