In an absurd way, the scene with all the identical girls kinda makes sense. They all look pretty close to identical, so, if he doesn't want the first one, why would he be attracted to the others?

Disney movies today feel so stale and like they're trying to cram every aspect of an entire culture into an hour and half movie for white kids to oggle at how "foreign yet human" it is for other cultures to exist. Like don't get me wrong there definitely 1000% needs to be more diversity in the stories we tell, especially to children, but why does it always have to be some dusty ass ancient myth and why is always some decrepit ass white man lookin like he's about to crumble to dust at any moment calling the shots? I just wanna see some people from under represented cultures given free reign to tell the stories they wanna tell with a full Hollywood budget at their disposal, why is that so hard to find?

@@frukola64 I assumed it was Peru because of the landscapes and the scenary in general. Kuzko's palace reminds me of the ancient city of Cuzco and the fact that the mountains and the jungle are so close fits perfectly with Cuzco's geography.

@@alexharris5499 A typical difference between waist and chest is 6 inches; 40 coat, 34 waist. There are variations here and there; fat guy might be 60 coat 46 pant, bean-pole might be 32 coat 28 pant, meathead 52 coat 36 pant, but its usually just a 6 inch difference.
Kronk wearing a 66 coat and 31 waist means his chest is MORE THAN DOUBLE the width of his waist. The alterations to make something like that look even half-good would be mind-boggling. There's a reason bodybuilders never look quite right in suits, and Kronk is basically that on steroids.

I loved this movie and David Spade was the perfect actor as Kuzco, the privileged emperor. My daughter was a toddler when they did a spin off of Kuzco going back to school with Yzma as the principal. I thought it was funny and adorable and wouldn't mind seeing it again.

I am obsessed with the movie aesthetic. The colors and shapes; and the way that everything in the palace looks like tall platforms coming out of a chasm; and how every hill and cliff are steep needles up in the sky, and the ground seems like it can't even be seen from the top... It's very unique. Whoever designed this is an artistic genius.
0:22 was one of my favourite scene in the whole entire movie, like the sarcastic "lemme guess you have a great personality?" And with one of the girls wanting to literally hit him, it was just too funny. Love this movie, it's just so ✨iconic✨ especially Kuzco. Oh and another thing, when I found out Kuzco was actually only 18 it like kinda makes sense where Pacha adopts him as a fourth child, like their relationship is somewhat like that.
