Point 1. : when agent says hawa bahot aati h and mr sanyal says fan on karo ther is no air and cut two lady hair udte hue and pata hilte hue dikhate h that means he is cribing n irrriating n goes against of everyone..
Point 2. He said twenty year 3owners may be he is tellg sanyals are the third one as he told stories of two family n third is themselves..
Point 3. Mrs. Jha was cleaning the murti that the boy found at....
Point 4. The gun 🔫 was slipped from the (army) father that the boy found..
Point 5. The boy seems to b fan of the character joker as wearing the tshirt (recently realised movie) and as we know joker kills everyone.. Later he also gets a getup of joker on his face and also saving money to fulfill his dream of becoming actor and joing theatre as he has previously also run away from home..
Point 6. Mr sanyal ka aisa lagta h jaise woh apni wife pe shak karte h as he says in start of the vdo itna charm mat show off karo.. And while giving his family education and professional background he says humara jeans ka toh lagta nahi h
Point 7. Wife does not agree to buy the house as she gets the idea ki yaha wastu shastra (chimes r part of w.s) ka issue h...
Point 8.. It seems when the boy loaded the gun in end thinkg father is searching him and because the kite was flying inbetween n he couldn't see who actually opend the door he randomly shoots and we can see the holes in kite n son crying due to this incident and immediately we can C him with the scary joker smile made from kite..
Point 9. Why we could not here the gun shoot out is bcz of the airplane passes which we can come in the start of the vdo also when plane passes it covers all the sound..
So moral of the story chimes where giving signals alwez that something is wrong going to happen

Its trending these days to have open endings...so it can fuel the discussion and opinions. For me, it only leads to confusion and does not give audience fulfilled experience. I will easily forget this movie because it doesn't "reach" anywhere. In effort to make something different & creative, one should not forget the basics. Research shows that viewer always want complete stories. Not half baked random stuff

To me the film denotes the extreme selfishness of parents and children. Neither cares for the other. No middle path. In fact as the generation progresses, the selfishness and divide increases. Extreme selfishness bordering on self trained autism. Well narrated film.

It is all about the the gap which two generations do not want to fill . One go in the exact opposite direction from the other . First case was with the man who wanted to marry with a muslim girl but mother wasn't ready even for the inter caste marriage. Secondly , daughter had sex with someone and wanted to have the child in future but his father wasn't agree with her even though she gave some strong arguments. Third case was the case of Abhik who wanted to pursue his interest his interest in the future but father wanted to throw him on the same lines of generations happened earlier.
CHANGE is the most permanent things in this world.
If you resist CHANGE , you will get harmed.
CHANGE can be heartbreaking and it can change into heartmaking.

At 0.51 dubey says “Abhi bhi der nahi huyi hai madam”
(Expecting Advikk story would have a different end)
1:40 “kamre ki khidkiya kholne k baad mann ki khidkiya bhi khul jati hai apne aap
(Asking to change perspective and have broader outlook towards approach)
    Generation Gap
1st Story/generation tells about Monu who wants to marry someone he loves (but from a different religion)
    2nd Story/Generation Dolu gets pregnant before turning 18, 8:47
Her parents are wabt her to abort and she wants to raise it as a single mother
His dad shits 2 bullets when he enters d room which eventually breaks down causing his death and not d 3 rd shit which he took straight
Though i dint get who was ringing d bell and why no one opened d door while dey enter room in d arguments
Or dt ring jus referred to be open d doors of ua mind!!
3rd Story/Generation: Advik wants to do theatre or acting, but his dad believes intellectual is only proven if he is an ias, phd , dr etc(as he says about his family to his wife)
I believe d agent at the start says 3 families stayed here Advik’s family considering d 3rd ..
So u can see he again runs away at the end 15:18 and his father finds him sitting inside d bedroom confused and kinda blaming himself for not understanding his kid..
1st death : suicide || no freedom to marry
2nd death : accidental || no freedom to make decision to b a single mother
3rd : dying from inside in guilt || no freedom to pursue interest

The plot, camera work, background score were all nice... Just a few things..
    1. Not just chimes, but it seems sound of the Aeroplane, the door knocking are all some sort of harbingers of doom in the story...
    2. The second story despite being serious, started looking funny because of the acting of the mother, and to some extent, the daughter as well.. Had he not picked up a gun instantly, I would have said it's not the father who needed to understand but the daughter... It's just bizzare to expect that your parents should first bring you up and then bring up your kids coz you can't earn enough and you are not married... How much do you want from them !
    3. From the point the father started chasing her, there was someone knocking the door.. I assume the sound was included because of what I mentioned in the 1st point... But was there another reason?
    4. It is one thing to have an open ending, but atleast some ending should fit if we think of one... While people have interpreted that the boy shot the father, there are two reasons I don't feel that... One, I think we were being shown simultaneously that in one room the father was searching while the boy was sitting and looking through old stuff in another room... He was sitting there even when we were shown the chimes and we heard the plane... He couldn't have shot from another room.. When father turned and sat down, there wasn't anyone in the room... Then the boy sat on the stairs crying as if something has already happened but when he looked at his father through the kite, there was no blood on his father..
If the boy shot himself, and it was his spirit looking at his father and then smiling because he felt free... Then, maybe it should have been a little more clear....
Had the boy not been crying, I would have said no one died... The backstories suddenly hit the father so he sat down to think... But the boy didn't hear these stories so his crying wouldn't make sense in this scenario...

    • @whatnow548
      @whatnow548 Před 2 lety +2

I don't think he committed suicide. He must have killed his father. When he looked through the kite we were shown what had happened as he recalled it. Someone opened the door to the room where his father was sitting n the scene cuts; also if he suicided why so much reference to the joker?
All these stories had one thing in common: The parents cared more about their name in society than their children's happiness. They didn't let them take important decisions about their own life.

    • @advocaterishitamall
      @advocaterishitamall Před 2 lety +1

@@whatnow548 I didn't say he committed suicide... I am saying for some reason or the other no ending fits properly; and in that context I am taking different scenarios/endings.... I know what the theme is; it's very clear... The way they had shown it looked like the child was in another room when we heard the chimes and the aeroplane, and while his father was looking for him.. It's not clear when he came out, which room he was in, when he shot.... We have to assume the mother and broker have gone somewhere and he's still sitting here.. Just this part could have been executed better even if they did not want to show him shoot his father...

I had to watch it a couple of times, and I am still unsure if I caught on all the subtleties and nuances.
Is the movie more spooky or is it merely coincidental? Or is it prophetic, with signs of what may follow? Or has already happened and viewers are left to figure out the sequence?
Apparently, the two previous families and the Sanyals have a lot more common denominators beyond the ownership of the house ... after all Mr. Sanyal seems unwilling to pass up a good deal, and is keen on buying it.
He also shares with the previous two families a complex parent-child dynamics. In case of the previous two families, after being disappointed by their offspring's choice, the adversarial and combative parent takes his/her own life ... Mrs. Jha jumps off the balcony, and the girl's father blows his brains off.
Now it may be Mr. Sanyal's turn if he buys the house. His hostility towards his son, and the boy finding the gun is more than a matter of chance. Is it a bad omen? Will he turn the tables around and eliminate his father once for all? A father who always disapproves of him and puts him down?
The boy painting his face to mimic a joker's happy/sad face, is it a fair warning? One simple act, and he might end his misery forever and open a door to his happiness?
Would Mr. Sanyal take the hint from what happened to other families, and pass up the deal, or will he buy the house and risk being the next casualty?
Or has he already become one?
As the film progresses, the erieness of the house builds up further as on an otherwise still day, suddenly a steady breeze develops. The ringing of the chimes is definitely setting the stage.... to expect the unexpected.
So, would there be a sequel? Another potential buyer for the house? I surely hope so... I am getting ready to prepare myself to sit at the edge of my seat as I did while watching this one. 🙀
