Wow!! Remote control compactor!!! I'm learning so much technique and just admiring the skill level at the controls. But as an owner of a Case 580e I would love some more maintenance vids... ok, Wish List done. Gee the Volvo is super smooth with your "soft hands" Chris. Great job of showing us your workday. Thanks
. My husband said he would love to be able to work with you on a job with two escivators. You are the reason he started using them. And to be honest you have played a roll in my husband staying sober. So @letsdig18 I would like to say thank you for being a great influence for him.
Nice job! They must really like their grass....lol! Be a lot of work, but I can appreciate the concept. I've got some cemeteries that take sod off and put it back when we're done covering grave. Anyways, great video Chris!
Really cool being able to watch over an experienced operator's shoulder. I would love to operate a trackhoe. The RC packer is really cool, how long have those been out?
i enjoyed your video. i work for a grading company out of sc but live in nc. done work in both...i know it might sound silly but where is your ladder..? ive laid some pipe not my favorite thing but my foremen are religious about a ladder if the trench is over your shoulders. also i was curious if that varies by where you work? thanks in advance for any feedback.
It looks like they came in there with some kind of sod removing machine so they could reuse the sod instead of just lettin' you drive across the green and dig a big trench to remove the pipe.
yeah he said he was tired or spending thousands on sod to fix my messes. now they have a sod cutter haha.. they cut and stacked all that in like 3 hours
How good performig and fuel consumtion of the 220 I have 2 x 210 in germany Are there rotate and Hammer/ Scher aux on the Sticks ? thank s from Germany
The guys at the golf course went all out they sod cutted out were you guys were going to dig and they put firewood barricades around it!!!! I bet that is a pain to work around!!!!! Haha how are you liking the new 220e?
I even hate to look at that old terracotta pipe that has been pressurized. Looking at it will break it. Just have to be extremely careful around it with equipment. There was some older kind of pipe even worse. Kind of a fiber type. I forget what it's called.
Orangeburg. Will squat right down with the soil and has no strength at all. It's just tar soaked fibers, round when you put it in, but not round for long. Even as I put it in as a teenager I was asking why are we using this junk? Some plastic would last longer and better. Uh huh. I would be the one to dig it back up and put in plastic. As suggested in the first place mind you. Oh no, let's do the job two and three times over before it's done right.
Pretty funny reading all the comments about the compact and all the people not know that you can the compactors that small in a rc model. Did you rent that compactor I think I saw a Neff rental sticker on the side?
oh cool. Im 13 years old and i love to run heavy equipment like you. We have a family owned company and I started too go too work with my Grandpa at the age of 6. We have 2 Link Belt excavators but they are a 201 and 3 hatachi excavators. The company is called Leo Mailloux Construction if you would like to look it up.
My guess is he's asking because he's trying to make chris look bad not moving a full bucket every time. If chris is doing it this way there is a reason. Some of it's finish grading for the pipe, and maybe he don't want the trench full of loose dirt and they can get better compaction when back filling, Who wants a sunken trench or raised bits in the middle of a golf course when it settles. It would sure make me mad if it was affecting the roll of a ball when it should of been flat. They went to the trouble of cutting the turf out nice, they want it done right not cheap and quick.
I'm a hoe operator, i do pipe work, I Personally wouldn't get in that hole my own self. bench would make it so much safer, or at least a 1:1. there was room to 1:1 it
sitemaster12 --- A person standing away from the noise can hear communications, a person standing at/within the noise cannot hear communications. Many people go through life having never grasp that.
Coltgov191145 --- The trench walls were sloped/"stepped back", all within the safety rules for the stability of that particular dirt! Camera lenses can be deceiving.
letsdig18+ that is a cute looking yellow machine. and by the way am just wondering sorry if am asking a noise question? sorry am just wondering where re you fom Cause am fom MI we have snow here. sorry if I was asking a noise question? I was just curious. Cause I knowdest that you guys dont have a lot of snow over their...lol
letsdig18 oh really in North Carolina? Is that right? If so" know wunder I don't see a lot of snow around their at your job sites..lol but inerways sorry if I asked a noise question? earlier, I was just curious, but so nice interesting videos, you do great! So keep them coming.:)

That plastic pipe is the best thing that ever happened! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Great working video Chris, you guys do nice work!!!
Thanks cool a remote control compactor! 👌🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Really nice work! You, Sir, are a PRO!
sweet touch with the bucket Chris, nice to watch a pro
That is a great 'tool' that R/C double drum roller compactor . Nice job.
A new one for me, the compactor. How cool!
That compactor is cool. its awesome that you can control it from your cab.
That remote control compactor is AWESOME! Using a manual one always made my hands numb from the vibrations!!
i could pull a long chair out and watch you dig all day man, really smooth ! love the videos
thanks!
It wouldn't hold me in that chair for long before begging to operate the excavator my self ;-)
yeah man, scoot over! ....hey, pass me a beer if there's any left in the cooler! :P
that's cool as hell man ..you really know what you are doing man. love your videos keep them coming
Great work!
Nice team work on that job Chris.
Compactor with remote control super !!!
Your work ethic is good to see these days
very cool , that remote packer is awesome
Nice job! They must really like their grass....lol! Be a lot of work, but I can appreciate the concept. I've got some cemeteries that take sod off and put it back when we're done covering grave. Anyways, great video Chris!
A remote compilation compactor?! That is very cool
Your a very good opertor
That wireless compactor is sweet!
That remote control roller is neat
the remote control compactor is very cool
I love your vids could you do a complete walk around of all your equipment
that remote control is frigin cool
Awesome project Chris Compactor with remote control awesome equipment using Letsdig18 😛😂
It's been said already, but god damn that remote controlled packer is awesome!!
You should do some filming on how you move your equipment
wow,.bro it's only two of you run this work? awesome!!
Nice new toy
A first for me seeing a remote control roller.
Lol, now that's an RC car!
+1 it's sod.... I had thoughts of the little compactor running over some of the sod....accident of course.
Yes Bobcat has a remote control option
i like those volvo excavator
I think I got whiplash watching :))
Really cool being able to watch over an experienced operator's shoulder. I would love to operate a trackhoe. The RC packer is really cool, how long have those been out?
I wanna play with the roller bug !!
wow technology is crazy a wire less roller
It would be sweet if you could try holding a club with the bucket/thumb and tee off with it, without tearing up the course that is lol.
Pricey little units, those compactors, aren't they? Thanks for all the videos.
Only 17500 USD on ebay. They want like 38K retail.
Yeah, I saw that...pocket change, right? lol.
Wow no stone bed or on top the pipe? Diff regs from state to state!
How's the TL12 and the 220? Have they been just as good as the machines they replaced?
i enjoyed your video. i work for a grading company out of sc but live in nc. done work in both...i know it might sound silly but where is your ladder..? ive laid some pipe not my favorite thing but my foremen are religious about a ladder if the trench is over your shoulders. also i was curious if that varies by where you work? thanks in advance for any feedback.

yeah he said he was tired or spending thousands on sod to fix my messes. now they have a sod cutter haha.. they cut and stacked all that in like 3 hours
That is bizarre. How did they expect you to replace a pipe 6 ft underground with messing up the sod?
Feminism, perhaps.
Where do you get those wonderful
toys? I've never seen a rc dirt packet
and didn't even know they made such a thing!🚧
is there any difference between platecompactor and the compactor you used in the vid ??
nice work.. love your vids !
this packs alot better since it weighs like 3000 lbs
You said that you had to dig around a couple of existing pipes. That's what is interesting. No video of that?
Chris, we gotta get you a dedicated mic so we can hear what you're saying and filter out some of the machine! :)
I’ll be damed, a Radio controlled ditch digger Compactor... 🙄😎👍
what kind of compactor is that ?
What's the name of that golf course? great video btw.
Remote control compactor, what's the world coming to . Hahaha
How good performig and fuel consumtion of the 220 I have 2 x 210 in germany Are there rotate and Hammer/ Scher aux on the Sticks ? thank s from Germany
This arm chair quarterback thinks It would be more efficient to let the skid steer guy compact while you continue digging.
I was just about to ask why the hell they got all that damn fire wood piled up but I realized the rich ass golf course had the sod cut
Video ideas can you make a vid on all the equipment you have including trucks and alll
what are you using for a camera?
The guys at the golf course went all out they sod cutted out were you guys were going to dig and they put firewood barricades around it!!!! I bet that is a pain to work around!!!!! Haha how are you liking the new 220e?
I believe what you see as firewood is actually sod rolled up for storage and stacked close to where it needs to go back
O come on I did not see that sorry haha!!!!!!!! Stuff happens!!!!!!
you're so good with this thing, you could pick up a glass of wine with your excavator without breaking or spilling it :-D
Can you put a remote controller on the skid steer as well lol
troy skeese idk ahoy his skid steer but I know it's possible
lol run the skid steer from the remote control while sitting in the excavator
Cat, John Deere, Bobcat all make remote control skid steers.
troy skeese ```````
9:20 That's hilarious! Did you expect an answer? :-)
what golf course are you on? Somehwere in the south i imagine
if you use aircond will it make different on fuel consumption ?
RDE Channel yes
that pipe was way overdue for a new one ....
Great videos. I own a excavating company in Maine. We put stone around most of our drainage pipes. I guess you guys don't or just that job?? Thanks.
ADexcavating stone is used for stability. This is virgin clay. Pipe is going nowhere
ADexcavating --- In Arkansas, AHTD requires stone around plastic when used as cross or storm drains but not required in private work.
I even hate to look at that old terracotta pipe that has been pressurized. Looking at it will break it. Just have to be extremely careful around it with equipment. There was some older kind of pipe even worse. Kind of a fiber type. I forget what it's called.

Orangeburg...that's it! I think somewhere a section of it just broke by us saying it's name.
what is that RC roller? It's that a toy?
hey can you show how you mount the camera? thanks!
i stick it to the side glass
Is that a Wacker packer you're using there?
Damn nice job Chris. Is it possible to mute the hydraulic pump noise a bit. Hard to hear what you are saying at times.
Ever chase a golfer with that remote compactor?
Nice vid on this job, Your conversation volume sucked, you could use a remote mic big time ! thanks for sharing
how are you liking that ec220e
love it
Pretty funny reading all the comments about the compact and all the people not know that you can the compactors that small in a rc model. Did you rent that compactor I think I saw a Neff rental sticker on the side?
yeah i rented it
I know you're a pro but how come your backfill guy doesn't run the compactor so you can be digging for your next pipe!
hey Chris quick question Do you run John Deere or Cat Controls??
cat on excavators deere on backhoes
2015 Link belts
all the excavators are 210s
do you know what a full bucket is ?
My guess is he's asking because he's trying to make chris look bad not moving a full bucket every time. If chris is doing it this way there is a reason. Some of it's finish grading for the pipe, and maybe he don't want the trench full of loose dirt and they can get better compaction when back filling, Who wants a sunken trench or raised bits in the middle of a golf course when it settles. He understands, watch more vids and you'll see how stupid your question is.
zackery moore --- A bucket that won't hold more!
My dog doesn't like the back up warning beep she barks at the noise
should the excavator be his 9 iron?!?!
you should put a mike on to improve sound . just saying
Waiting for the keyboard safety officers to tell you you needed a trench box and benching
I'm a hoe operator, i do pipe work, I Personally wouldn't get in that hole my own self. bench would make it so much safer, or at least a 1:1. there was room to 1:1 it
it was sloped back more than it looks on camera.
how the hell dus that ole boy hear you over the machine noise?
sitemaster12 --- A person standing away from the noise can hear communications, a person standing at/within the noise cannot hear communications. Many people go through life having never grasp that.
boy osha would not like that with no trench box....
Coltgov191145 yeah it looks over a 4 foot vertical to me. I damn sure wouldn't be filming it.
Coltgov191145 --- The trench walls were sloped/"stepped back", all within the safety rules for the stability of that particular dirt! Camera lenses can be deceiving.
arkansas13 just saying OSHA has that "general duty clause" which states that if they don't have a rule for it they can make on up on the spot...
arkansas13 "looks can be deceiving" goes both ways
arkansas13 just warning chris to be safe is all
letsdig18+ that is a cute looking yellow machine. and by the way am just wondering sorry if am asking a noise question? sorry am just wondering where re you fom Cause am fom MI we have snow here. sorry if I was asking a noise question? I was just curious. Cause I knowdest that you guys dont have a lot of snow over their...lol
im in NC
letsdig18 oh really in North Carolina? Is that right? If so" know wunder I don't see a lot of snow around their at your job sites..lol but inerways sorry if I asked a noise question? earlier, I was just curious, but so nice interesting videos, you do great! So keep them coming.:)
do you know how to fill your bucket and place your material in the right spot not very efficient
operating at full strech all the time you got no idea pal
Jeremy Browne Wow look at you tough guy, critiquing on a CZcams comment section. Bet you couldn't critique you're own know-it-all attitude.
You said you had to dig around a couple of existing pipes. That's what is interesting. No video of that?
