Gail Reeder is one in a million!!! She showcases our past in such a gentle and tasteful way that as soon as I finish watching, I am doing a walkabout my own house to see how I might display some of my prims in a different way. If you ask me, Gail’s home is a bit of Heaven on earth. I love all the re-arranging she’s done. I love moving things, it’s like getting something new! I noticed Gracie in in her favorite spot again! I’d like to see your home again, Anne. Since you painted with red (my favorite color) everything seems so much more alive. ❤

That is a beautiful home..so many wonderful things and it flows, never looks cluttered. Achieving that is something I find hard to do w/o a lot of editing and even then, I'm not all that happy with it.
You can do it! I know you can!!! Look at the difference in my home from where it was 6 years ago when I started the channel. I've been editing for years.

I was very moved by her personal story of loss in her book. And of course inspired by her home. Can you share her wall paint color and the red paint color if she doesn’t mind or if you know it. I am struggling with paint colors, particularly a red. Thank you for enduring the weather to bring us so much joy!

Breath taking! Beautiful home. Would you share wear you got your bedding and the cover for your pillows.
I made the bolster covers. The bedspreads are from Macy’s and Overstock. The antique coverlets across the foot are from antique shops.

@@AnneClay My husband had one here and I wore a sweater coat on flight because it was cold in The Burgh when we left…..and then went into the 70’s. 🤷🏻♀️. So we were prepared. Crazy weather.
I remember one trip when I was out in LA. I went to a 90 degree temperature difference in the day I flew home to NH. It was crazy!

Ok I asked her. It looks to me that it is a throw over two bed pillows and she just put the pillows in it.
It’s 3 yards if checkered fabric that she pins over two pillows. Easy peasy

Very lovely home. Thank you for sharing and giving me ideas! I’d like to ask what paint color, and company, if you know, that your mantle is. I am thinking about painting ours in our den. We have all wood on ceiling, walls, and floors, plus wood built in bookcase. Mahogany from Philippines, 1958 home. Floors are oak. Thank you!
