I just told my wife that Flickerstick has a youtube channel now so we will be playing everything on here. The debut album is one of the best albums ever made. CD is so scratched up it will not play so gonna check on streaming today and buy a new one of everything ever made. We are from Ft. Worth but live in the Miami area now. We will wait for the tour!!!

Every song on that first album was absolutely brilliant. They had a certain chemistry that comes along once every couple years. I was very disappointed that they never went any further and I assumed that can all be blamed on record companies but I don't know the history
@@josephsantus881At the time there were too many similar bands . Bands on the Run probably hurt them long term more than it helped, especially when it came out that the show was rigged for Flickerstick to win. The constant internal conflicts hurt as well as the record company not backing them. Personally, I just don’t think any of the bands on the show were that good, just decent bar bands.
I think if these guys had come out in the early to mid 90s, they would've blown up. They definitely had a style that fit that era of music a little better. But good on em for doing it.

Ok so I watched “bands on the run” every week on vh1. Never missed an episode…between the bands, They had the sound and always had it from day one. and can’t understand for life of me how there not a massively HUGE band touring and all that. Absolutely Love this band! Would put these guys up against any rock band today. And they’d kill it! 🤘

Agree 100%. I play in a '90s/early '00s cover band and I just proposed adding "Beautiful" to our set.
Man, we played so many shows with them. At the Aardvark, the Curtain Club, Trees, etc. Why this band never broke big is completely beyond me. Stellar songs performed by such pure performers. I swear there was blood on the stage after every performance we played with them. And, back stage - they were gracious and kind (and drunk). Love this band.

I was absolutely obsessed with Bands on the Run. I have the albums of Flickerstick, Soulcracker, and Josh Dodes Band. Just need Harlow to finish my collection. This was a crazy period in music for sure.

Flickerstick playing the Wetlands in NYC was my first ever concert. I got to meet the band before and after the show. I took a bunch of pictures with Brandin and Dominic that my mom framed for me and I had them hanging on my walls until I moved out. Great band. Criminally underrated. Also, Madagascar and Back is a fantastic EP.
