I wonder why consciousness is symbolicly masculine if eve is the one first to eat the apple of knowledge

consciusness symbolically as masculine and matter as femine... Conscious of something, matter.
Sun shines over the moon and brings it out of darkness/chaos.
Order/clarity/culture usually associated with masculine, Chaos/potential/energy/etc with feminine.
Men want to look, women want to be seen.
Idk. There's lots of similar trivial and less trivial things that can work as example and although all this is just in the field of principles and not actual just men and women, nonetheless such things do point to some kind of underlying correlation. But idk, i think even the sexual organs are representative of such principles of universal duality, it seems to observable everything like fibonacci, etc. Anyway if adam awakens through eve maybe it indicates that one is the key to the other in some sense. That one becomes more conscious through his couterpart. Idk

@@Qnexus7 yea i agree that these are just principals and dont apply usually to real men and women, but adam and eve and the entire bible, according to peterson, are more supposed to be a symbolic telling and metaphorical so you'd think that adam would be the first one to become conscious if conscious is symbolically male

@@AtenaHena well.. Its not only according to peterson, the whole concept form the beggining was disigned as symbolic. The aramaic name for god is YHWH an unpronounceable name to not forget that god is unrepresentable and can be accessed only through symbols as closest things that can point to him. Anyways theres lots of things to say and this is not the adequate place.
The other main thing about symbols is interpretation. And here the great debates begin.
Anyway, if i remember correctly, word for word, the story goes with eve tempted by the snake, eats and gives to husband, then immediately they both awake and become aware of their nudity shame, etc, etc aware of their condition. They didnt die as god warned so the snake was right in the moment but they became aware of the fact they will die and are mortals, so god was ultimately right. Short gain long gain, sacrifice of now for the best tomorrow.. Peterson coorelation.
Thig is they became aware as soon as adam has eaten too, but he ate because of eve partially. Again peterson makes the point that women make and provoke men to become aware through natural selection as one of the main means. Temptation plays the role, as with pandoras myth. There are all these correlations but it requires much studies, etc peterson did a great job but there is much more stuff, so..
