My dad has never been a fan of hip hop. It just wasn't his thing but he went to a hopsin show with me a while back and not only did he enjoy the show, the message and the performer. When we got to do a face to face w hopsin he told him "young man you give me hope for kids because you carry a good message and are a good example."
It floored me but it was so awesome because now anytime a new hopsin song drops he tells me about it lol.

the "please stand by" thing really bugged me tbh, I could see dad was enjoying it and if anything you were a little annoying I think you need to embrace the lyricism the same as dad and then comment at the breaks as he does, I think it will keep fluidity and people wont mind waiting for a response whilst music is being played.
