GOD YEHOVAH COMMANDED PEOPLE TO WORSHIP AND SERVE HIM ACCORDING TO HOW HE HAS COMMANDED and
Not according to how we want
Not according to how some person or people want.
Not according to how the idol worshipers (servants) do
But according to the word, law, commandments and ordinances as counselled in the testimony testament witness of the covenant of God Yehovah completely in truth.
GOD YEHOVAH FORBIDS COPYING IDOLATERS AND SYNCRETISM WITH IDOLATERS IN WORSHIPING HIM.
ANTILAW CHRISTIANITY OPEN THE DOOR FOR COPYING AND SYNCRETISM WITH IDOL WORSHIPPERS OR IMITATING A CONTRADICTOR
    Joshua 24:14 ASV
Now therefore fear Jehovah, and serve him in sincerity and in truth; and put away the gods which your fathers served beyond the River, and in Egypt; and serve ye Jehovah.
    Psalm 119:142,151,160 ASV
Thy righteousness is an everlasting righteousness, And thy law is truth. [151] Thou art nigh, O Jehovah; And all thy commandments are truth. [160] The sum of thy word is truth; And every one of thy righteous ordinances endureth for ever.
    Psalm 19:9 ASV
The fear of Jehovah is clean, enduring for ever: The ordinances of Jehovah are true, and righteous altogether.
    1 Samuel 12:20-21,24 ASV
And Samuel said unto the people, Fear not: ye have indeed done all this evil; yet turn not aside from following Jehovah, but serve Jehovah with all your heart: [21] and turn ye not aside; for then would ye go after vain things which cannot profit nor deliver, for they are vain. [24] Only fear Jehovah, and serve him in truth with all your heart; for consider how great things he hath done for you.
    Leviticus 18:1-5,24-26,28-30 ASV
And Jehovah spake unto Moses, saying, [2] Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, I am Jehovah your God. [3] After the doings of the land of Egypt, wherein ye dwelt, shall ye not do: and after the doings of the land of Canaan, whither I bring you, shall ye not do; neither shall ye walk in their statutes. [4] Mine ordinances shall ye do, and my statutes shall ye keep, to walk therein: I am Jehovah your God. [5] Ye shall therefore keep my statutes, and mine ordinances; which if a man do, he shall live in them: I am Jehovah. [24] Defile not ye yourselves in any of these things: for in all these the nations are defiled which I cast out from before you; [25] and the land is defiled: therefore I do visit the iniquity thereof upon it, and the land vomiteth out her inhabitants. [26] Ye therefore shall keep my statutes and mine ordinances, and shall not do any of these abominations; neither the home-born, nor the stranger that sojourneth among you [28] that the land vomit not you out also, when ye defile it, as it vomited out the nation that was before you. [29] For whosoever shall do any of these abominations, even the souls that do them shall be cut off from among their people. [30] Therefore shall ye keep my charge, that ye practise not any of these abominable customs, which were practised before you, and that ye defile not yourselves therein: I am Jehovah your God.
    Deuteronomy 12:1-4,8,29-32 ASV
These are the statutes and the ordinances which ye shall observe to do in the land which Jehovah, the God of thy fathers, hath given thee to possess it, all the days that ye live upon the earth. [2] Ye shall surely destroy all the places wherein the nations that ye shall dispossess served their gods, upon the high mountains, and upon the hills, and under every green tree: [3] and ye shall break down their altars, and dash in pieces their pillars, and burn their Asherim with fire; and ye shall hew down the graven images of their gods; and ye shall destroy their name out of that place. [4] Ye shall not do so unto Jehovah your God. [8] Ye shall not do after all the things that we do here this day, every man whatsoever is right in his own eyes; [29] When Jehovah thy God shall cut off the nations from before thee, whither thou goest in to dispossess them, and thou dispossessest them, and dwellest in their land; [30] take heed to thyself that thou be not ensnared to follow them, after that they are destroyed from before thee; and that thou inquire not after their gods, saying, How do these nations serve their gods? even so will I do likewise. [31] Thou shalt not do so unto Jehovah thy God: for every abomination to Jehovah, which he hateth, have they done unto their gods; for even their sons and their daughters do they burn in the fire to their gods. [32] What thing soever I command you, that shall ye observe to do: thou shalt not add thereto, nor diminish from it.
    Deuteronomy 4:2 ASV
Ye shall not add unto the word which I command you, neither shall ye diminish from it, that ye may keep the commandments of Jehovah your God which I command you.
    Deuteronomy 13:4 ASV
Ye shall walk after Jehovah your God, and fear him, and keep his commandments, and obey his voice, and ye shall serve him, and cleave unto him.
    Deuteronomy 5:32 ASV
Ye shall observe to do therefore as Jehovah your God hath commanded you: ye shall not turn aside to the right hand or to the left.
    Deuteronomy 12:28 ASV
Observe and hear all these words which I command thee, that it may go well with thee, and with thy children after thee for ever, when thou doest that which is good and right in the eyes of Jehovah thy God.
    Deuteronomy 6:18,25 ASV
And thou shalt do that which is right and good in the sight of Jehovah; that it may be well with thee, and that thou mayest go in and possess the good land which Jehovah sware unto thy fathers, [25] And it shall be righteousness unto us, if we observe to do all this commandment before Jehovah our God, as he hath commanded us.
    Genesis 15:1,6 ASV

    Psalm 33:20-21 ASV
Our soul hath waited for Jehovah: He is our help and our shield. [21] For our heart shall rejoice in him, Because we have trusted in his holy name.
    Deuteronomy 26:16-19 ASV
This day Jehovah thy God commandeth thee to do these statutes and ordinances: thou shalt therefore keep and do them with all thy heart, and with all thy soul. [17] Thou hast avouched Jehovah this day to be thy God, and that thou wouldest walk in his ways, and keep his statutes, and his commandments, and his ordinances, and hearken unto his voice: [18] and Jehovah hath avouched thee this day to be a people for his own possession, as he hath promised thee, and that thou shouldest keep all his commandments; [19] and to make thee high above all nations that he hath made, in praise, and in name, and in honor; and that thou mayest be a holy people unto Jehovah thy God, as he hath spoken.
    Exodus 34:27 ASV
