Just letting you know, I have the same machine and don't have the issue with the shifter going into high gear. You might want to take it into your dealer for adjustment. Great video by the way!
I have a new 2021 2 seater pro Xp and mine does not do that with the gear shift. That needs to be adjusted. 4 seater you should of got a bigger winch. I also have the 4500lbs and it seems fine. It’s going to take you a full weekend to clean that thing. Polaris builds the machine like a lego car. It’s up to you to finish it. I have already put $4500 in extras
You shouldn’t have to put that pressure to shift gears I have exact same machine just grey with blue trim shifts into H easy. Take it in and get that fixed bro
Does your winch have the low, neutral, and high setting? High is supposed to be only for fast rope recovery. Low for vehicle recovery.
I wonder if your winch was in high range quick recovery and not low range for winching?

You have to tune and clutch it... night and day difference that you'll love... AA does a great job.

That winch has a high and low range. High range is only for spooling in or out quickly not for winching
That 4500 should pull 2 of them out no problem. Them polaris winches got 2 speeds on em got to put her in low shell pull

He must have had the winch in Hi instead of low.

No that’s normal, some are tight from the factory. Mine was and has loosened up nice
