Recipes:
Baked Miso Rainbow Trout
Ingredients:
- 2 tbsp of miso paste
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp olive oil
- Black pepper
- Trout fillet
For the glaze;
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tsp honey
- 1 tsp sesame oil
For serving:
- Steamed rice
- toasted sesame seeds
- spring onions for garnish
- Greens of choice
- In a mixing bowl, combine miso paste, honey, soy sauce, olive oil and pepper, mix well
- Add trout in the miso mixture and marinate for 20-30 minutes
- Preheat the oven to 375°F
- Bake for 13-15 minutes
- Remove forms he oven and let it rest for 5 minutes
- Serve with steamed rice, greens and garnish with spring onions and sesame seeds
- Enjoy!

Lovely video as usual! Thank you! My slow mornings are generally on the weekends, since I leave for work at 6am during the week. But I always enjoy a cup of coffee and snuggle with my dog before leaving for work. And we usually watch one of your videos or a similar slow living video to set the day off right. The rest of my day is chaotic, so it's a nice way to begin.

Hi Jen ‼️ Well, i'm a morning person too, even on my days off, i wake up early and the first thing i do is drink a cup of coffee ( I'm a coffee lover too ). Today i cooked my favourite Sunday's meal, spaghetti with minced meat and feta cheese ( feta is a greek brined white cheese, usually made from sheep' milk ). We love to stay up late, so we don't get up too early. Like you, we also love our home to be organized and clean. We make sure before we go to bed the house is vacuumed and clean. I watch your vlog in the morning as I have my breakfast. Your beautiful imagery and music set the tone for me. Some days I can feel a bit frantic so I sit and look at the trees and listen to the birds sing. Then I start my daily routine, tidy kitchen, make bed, dress. Wearing lipstick and a spritz of perfume make me feel good, even if I stay home. After working in an office for over 40 years, I am retired and slow mornings are my favourite time of day. I no longer need to rush out the door to catch the train. For me it's about quiet, slow, calm as I plan what to do for the remainder of the day. This is bliss. Wishing you a wonderful week Jen. 🌼

I work in a different time zone than I live, so although I am a morning person, I don't usually have time to go slowly! On my days off, my body still wakes at 6 and wants to move! The slow part of my day starts around 4PM and I do enjoy a long, leisurely evening.
