- That's right, Geeks & Geekettes! I bought a screen used Robin costume from the 1997 film, Batman & Robin! I hope you enjoy this unboxing as much as I did. I've loved these costumes since I was a child, so it's a dream come true...

It's so weird, but I didn't realize until I was older that Robin's suit was just straight up Nightwing. Would have loved to see the Nightwing emblem in blue.
There was a fan made Batman film that I watched a few years ago, Nightwing was in it, using this suit but with the blue emblem. It did look pretty cool. Unfortunately, I don't remember the name of the film or else I would've attached a link to it.

The suits were next level in the 90's films . They still hold up with suits today. Loved the red Nightwing styled suit Robin had.

@@petermcnallt12pm Some people grew up in the 90s and appreciate things for what they were. Today's suits in my opinion are too over the top. Too much military style armor. The cool thing about Batman was that his rubber suit is supposed to be semi bullet proof. I get the producers wanted a realistic suit for the new movies but it took away the sleekness and edgier look. I appreciate the suits in the newer films for what they were. But my favorite suits will always be the ones in Batman Forever.

I've seen stuff on eBay before. Just use the search "screen worn" or "screen used."

As a kid I actually thought Robin had the best suit in both movies. However, I really never liked the nipples. It was just unnecessary because the design is essentially the same without them.
Unrelated but the Birds of Prey tv show version of the Batgirl suit is awesome. I know it's just a repainted B&R batgirl suit tho
Its not hard to be the Best thing about batman and robin...that movie sucked major balls. But i prefer robins original R suit...

I think one time I saw a documentary or something that mentione that the idea behind the nipples was that they were going using the idea of greek gods and statues when designing the suits, which is why the muscles and butts were so accentuated too. And hence - the bat nipples!

I got an action figure of this Robin for Christmas when I was a kid and 1 of his legs is on backwards. My parents never got it exchanged for a normal 1. It's like 2 right legs I think.
Chris O’Donnell says he still has a Robin suit but he didn’t specify if it was the Batman Forever or the Batman & Robin suit. But sweet video man, I grew up with those movies as well, some great ice puns in there

Great investment! The Joel Schumacher Batman films being everyone's favourites, bar none. Essentially the greatest interpretation of the characters ever put on film. Well done!
They were great movies, Batman movies should be big and bold. The pretentious self indulgence of the Nolan trilogy was the exact opposite of what a Batman movie should be
Those suits were awesome, sculpt was so cool. I remember the muscle blowing my mind as a kid, I thought that the actors were so ripped that they'd bust through some wetsuit haha.

I so much loved Chris OˋDonnell as Robin. And I did enjoy the movies. They were different, yes. but I was still young. Later I learnt that they were considered bad. But at that time, I did not care about these opinions...so envious of you. Fantastic costume and fantastic video.
That is my favorite suit to use for Nightwing in Arkham Knight. Besides the cape.

People saying they just noticed its Nightwing suit with a Cape. Heres me at 17 years old never saw it in theaters but when I was 8 (first saw it) I knew it was a Nightwing suit guess I really really really payed attention to details and Memorized what Nightwings suit looked like 😅

Chris, just got to enjoy this. I am so thrilled for you and so so jealous. Those suits from the original four Batman movies still take my breath away. And I always loved this version of the Robin costume. You are a lucky man and I hope when you've got the body form for it and have it all set up and properly displayed that you will share that with us. SO LUCKY!
