    Nice idea. You could also use a pentatonic for the melody loop. That is every note of a chord with the 2nd and the 6th removed. So for C major / A minor: A-C-D-E-G. Then you tune the first tone with the speed knob to the key and you can play every part of the melody sample over anything in that same key and it will always sound right.

    You could just multiply by 1.1, that’s just one equation.

    Hi👋🏻 How many long samples can be stored in the Volca's memory?

      Thank you so much! I believe samples can be a max length of 130 seconds and as long as there is enough space on the unit you can put as many will fit.

    having a lot of trouble just getting the volca sample 2 to connect to the computer unfortunately. Some forums online say they never got theirs to work and korg just left them in the dust? I have Mac os x catalina

      I'm sorry you are having issues getting it to connect. I haven't run into an issue like this before, but have only connected it to PC and don't have any experience using it on Mac. Hopefully you can get it straightened out.
