- A quick breakdown of how I prepare samples to be chopped on the Sample 2, how I chop them, rearranging them, and a little bit about how I go about programming melodic or bass lines from one shots.

Dude that’s amazing. I am thankfuk that this video popped up in my homepage. Would love if you could show some more Volca Sample 2 tips and tricks, absolutely love your production process!
Thank you so much! I really appreciate you watching 😁 I will definitely have more Volca Sample 2 videos in the future.
This is gold.
You gave me great insight at how to use the unit. Thank you!
I am glad that it was helpful! Thank you for watching 😁
Great video, gives me some really useful info on how to actually use my Volca Sample!
Thank you 😄Glad it was helpful!
I literally can't do maths. Thanks. This is so inspiring.
I suck at math too 🤣, but luckily once you get the hang of it the math kinda becomes second nature. Thank you so much for watching! I really appreciate it.
Awesome, I learned some cool stuff, thank you.
Thank you for watching! I'm glad that it was helpful 😄
Im glad that i found your channel. Im into music production since 90s and Volcas and s2 are most controversal items i had... At one Hand... But its another topic, cheers 🎉❤
Glad you stumbled across my channel. Thanks for watching!😁
@@chancedrury_ sometimes it feels like whole volca line was designed by sadistical autists 🤖😉😁
Nice idea. You could also use a pentatonic for the melody loop. That is every note of a chord with the 2nd and the 6th removed. So for C major / A minor: A-C-D-E-G. Then you tune the first tone with the speed knob to the key and you can play every part of the melody sample over anything in that same key and it will always sound right.
Thank you for watching and thanks for the information! That's really useful.😁
Quality production
Thank you!
Hi Chance. Thank you.
You're very welcome 😄
dope vid i subbed!
Thank you! I really appreciate it.
You could just multiply by 1.1, that’s just one equation.
…just saying 🙂
This vid was helpful, I can relate this for my Model:Samples 👍🏻
Yeah that's how I do it but just forgot to word it that way in the video. Glad this was helpful!😁
Hi👋🏻 How many long samples can be stored in the Volca's memory?
Thanks for the video and your sessions!
Thank you so much! I believe samples can be a max length of 130 seconds and as long as there is enough space on the unit you can put as many will fit.
Very interesting! Thank you! I'm waiting for my Volca this week and will experiment!
Thanks
No problem! Thank you for watching 😄
having a lot of trouble just getting the volca sample 2 to connect to the computer unfortunately. Some forums online say they never got theirs to work and korg just left them in the dust? I have Mac os x catalina
I'm sorry you are having issues getting it to connect. I haven't run into an issue like this before, but have only connected it to PC and don't have any experience using it on Mac. Hopefully you can get it straightened out.
I finally got it to work by trying a bunch of different cords and one randomly worked!@@chancedrury_
is the guitar riff sampled one you've recorded yourself? cheers
Yeah, the guitar riff is a sample of me playing. Thank you for watching! 😄
Does the original file need to be output at a particular sample rate?
Not that I am aware of. I have not ran into an issue with sample rates.
i missed the one shot tip
I talk about how I make melodies or bass lines out of one shot instrument samples at 6:37

1/128 is not 10% but rather 0,8%
