- It is time to wire up our 240 Volt Boat System and Shore Power to complete the Electrical Compartment. Our Brand New wiring is something to behold and we are so proud of it with the team effort it has taken to complete the system.
Our CZcams build series is all about what it takes to build a Catamaran from Scratch. There is so much detail in a build of this size and so many different techniques involved in bringing her to fruition. I trust you will find something that may help with your current or future project, repair or dream boat build. If you feel there is value, please let us know and comment so we can continue to produce content worth your valuable time.

Congratulations to you and Janet and all your family and friends on the upcoming / past wedding and life to come!!!!
Nice to see your beautiful family. Soon you will be sailing and after all this hard work-a vacation for a year will be amazing for all of you. We will miss the technical videos. It’s been great to watch the progress!
Davits looking really good. So many times they look like an after thought on the back of the boat. A combination of stainless tubing, ropes and pulleys. Those look like they were made for the boat.
@9:30 in I swear I heard you say something about 230 volt, but Ellens legs are nowhere near shocking, they are quite nice.
Congrats Sam...great job things looking good
Congratulations.
Hey great news great news. Congratulations to the grandparents on both sides. Congratulations to the parents on both sides congratulations to the newlyweds. I really enjoy listening to you and hearing about community/family events. I see the world as a community. Thank you For letting us know this announcement this is super special. My wife and I have two daughters they’re not of this age yet but they’re getting closer. Bless you and your fam. From my family to yours entire family we wish you health.

Those davits are built like tanks. You could lift cars out with I now….lol
Looking amazing .regards
I see Jimmy was wearing Australian safety shoes. 😄
Always, I personally don't wear them anymore after a crushed toe incident with a scuba tank but I understand the freedom of them.Rossco
I gota say that it's good you already have an RCD on boat regardless of different regs around world.
In my council flat in UK the RCD test button broke on the ring main "sockets". I can't afford a £500 electricians test station so I bought a 25Watt resistor off of ebay that would cause 60mA to flow... It never tripped. I plug this resistor into my cooker socket and it trips every time. I told the council. I need to remind them again to come sort it. I'm competent "more or less lol" but Only certified electricians can go into the consumer unit.
Basically what I'm trying to say is your "ANZAC" regs will keep you safe regardless in any marina around the world.
Correct me if I'm wrong but I don't think he looks nervous. Some people are surrounded by great relationships and they are like that's what I want too and I can't wait for years to find that and get into it.!
Why an outlet for the water heater? Just run your wire direct from the breaker to the water heater.
Hi Rosco, Do you know the SWL of the davits when purchased them and what they are now after your modifications? I would think that would be important to know. Thanks.
Roger, they were originally rated for 300kg, but I guess we also need to account for the bouncing of a tender, so should be ample.
Good luck with the wedding Sam. Thought Ross might have talked you out of it.
Young fellas never listen to the auld fella!😅
Thanks Kev, will pass it on, he never listens to dad's unsolicited advice anyway.Have a great week.Ross
Hi guys, congratulations Sam you gotta get married once can’t stay happy all your life NO that’s not true. There’s three rings in marriage the engagement ring. The wedding ring. And then the suffering. Unfortunately I’ve been married twice and I have failed so I hope you do well and be like your parents because there are a wonderful example of a married couple. You’ll have your ups and downs but just learn to roll with the punches. love the video keep up. the good work.
I'm surprised on such a large new construction someone would go with a galvanic isolator instead of an isolation transformer. Especially with as much AC as your boat will be running off shore power, I'd be really afraid of stray current eating my engine.
We did consider the transformer but will be minimal marina usage for us,we will be on a mooring and at ancher and avoid marinas for the time being. As we don't have sail drives, it probably won't be too big of an issue .
Hey Roscoe, please don’t speed up sections of your videos, let the viewers speed them up if they wish too.
