Thank God for all of you. It is so necessary. I lived in Hawaii in 1968 to go to UH. I was fortunate to meet a local guy that I dated. I met all his wonderful friends. Had a get together with singing and I remember the quail eggs. Yum. I went to local cool bars with him and met so many fantastic locals. That was my introduction to the island. Went to a Filapino wedding. Everyone was so nice. My friend married a Hawaiian baseball player and I went to the Luau for their babies first birthday. My purpose of living in Hawaii was for the Aloha Spirit. It was my life to share Aloha. Mahalo ❗💖🤙

I also loved and remember the Hawaiian music everywhere on Kalakua Avenue. I worked in the International Market Place in the International Market Place. I was the first girl to ride a Honda 50, I needed transportation for school and to get to stores and my favorite spot on the beach. Nobody was ever there❗ 🤙

This is wonderful. Tears come to my eyes. I feel like I'm back. Been to every island. My Hawaiian friend moved to Kauai by the world's wetist spot. Unfortunately she is no longer with us. Say a prayer for Shirl Akina. I never thought I would hear this music again. Real Hawaii ❗ Mahalo for your words also. 🤙
