Love the new set up Kristin. As you say very “freeing”. Love watching Kate at The Last Homely House. I made her project bag from little squares (she made it from scraps) and then hand quilted and sewed it into a little pouch with a wrap tie. Don’t think I could make a quilt as big as your fabulous one. I’m just a “small project” maker 😂😂😂. Thanks for sharing. 🙋🏼🏴

The emotional support Chicken is soo cute ☺️. Totally love it. The Quilt is so lovely 😊 you are a master. Love the Don’t look up sweater but I get it. I would feel like you and probably not finish it too. I had one like this and wound up slowly frogging it and still didn’t use the yarn so I get it. Hopefully will do it proud and finish it up. Love the shawl the colors definitely are lovely.

I personally love the new setup - it allows you space to move around and show projects more freely. Feels more relaxed.
I’m Knitting a chicken too. It’s designed by one of my local yarn shop owners. I have two shops I hang out at since I moved here and that’s one. The designer is so sweet and such a fun person. Such an inviting shop. Both knitting tree LA and wollhaus are gems here in the Los Angeles area. Very different styles but both so good.
That's wonderful, Angela! Finding an LYS you vibe with is important and so great that they're so close to where you live. I'd love to check them out the next time I'm in LA.
@@Voolenvine yes you should check out both Williams and knitting tree la. Both amazing in their own way. I’ve been to one other but it was not my fave.
The new set-up is bringing you joy so I love it! Taylor with Wools Needles Hands inspired my chicken named Cleo-Peck-tra. You inspired me to learn how to quilt too. The Nora Ling channel is in a foreign language 😮...what a surprise😂

That chicken is the best one I have seen yet, it is perfect! Love the purple, I completely agree with the not loving the red. Can you share the yarn you used for the marled ? The speckled hen is the chicest of all hens IMO.

I’m thinking I may knit a chicken on my Alaska cruise this summer. It’s with my husband’s family who drive me kind of batty so I’ll need the support.
Oh wow! An Alaska cruise sounds fun - I imagine the scenery will be beautiful! But yes, an ESC will help take the edge off batty scenarios for sure! 😂🤪

I love the personal vibe of the new set up! Good job! Your wonky stars quilt top is lovely. Ever since watching Kate's tutorial I've wanted to start mine. However, I got sidetracked by starting my first scrappy quilt using paper piecing and I'm obsessed! Too many quilts on the brain and too little time 😂 Good to see you back Kristen!

You know, that pattern from your don't look up pullover looks very much like the Celeste Pullover from Petite Knit... just different colors of course... just in case you wanted to maybe redo it with an established pattern. Cause I do think your color combo is super unique and would suit you well.

We can't hear the outside noise so don't worry about it! It's nice to have a new setup to change things up, although visually I prefer a closer background with less empty space to distract the eye
