Yeah true
Sadly only you can play taxi misions before the mision "Roman's Sorrow".....
In gta 5 you can be franklin, own the taxi business, and get a taxi. And also if you own the business you get free taxi rides.

The cabs in GTA 2 are kinda cool. Free money that randomly gets in your cab and you can drop them off where you want. Also there's like 3 different taxis in GTA 1, one for each city. GTA 2 has only 2 taxi types.

The Minigun in SA would almost immediately make Taxis explode. Using that gun in GTA3 is like using a Minigun in SA. The other machine gun would have likely been a better comparison, but yeah.

We can actually call a taxi in GTA SA, it only featured in PS2.
Fun fact: you can use the telephone on the street curb to call taxis on PS2. What a shame when RS cut out most of the cool details on PC version.
The Bickle 76 from LCS, as far as I know it’s the only truely unique Taxi in the entire series. I have not unlocked it when I had played LCS, so I can’t speak of its handling.
There's the borgine in GTA 3 and zebra cab in GTA VC. Also have you unlocked the car yet?

When you call a taxi in GTA 5,they might take some time. So for me, i will just go on the browser
So... How to call a taxi in GTA SA? Which buttons I should press on to call it?
And also you can call a taxi in Vice City too, but only when you will fail some mission with "WASTED" reason, then you will respawn in closest hospital and there will be a taxi waiting for you. It's will be available only if you will have enough money to pay for treatment and for taxi (taxi price in GTA Vice City is 9 or 12 $ if I remember it well)

The taxi in GTA Vice City deson't have a horn, because you had complete the taxi mission, in it and you can jump.
Use Mixsets and Set Use Taxi lights to 1 in all 3d era games to have that taxi sign lit up

I'd say gta lcs vc and sa because in lcs it had new taxi called Bickle 76, in vc we own a Kaufman cab company and three vehicles more faster and resistent, in sa we can customize the taxi and had nitros.

It's broken shaders that come with the Steam version. It's a bug. To fix it there is a fan patch called the Silent Patch.
