True, I saw Xbox One was trending, clicked on the said trending tweets, saw that Ghosts was involved, and started to remember it again... we REALLY need that sequel Activision...
Welp im still playing it just because im still trying the extincition chaos mode “I WANT TO WIN” i didnt buy the maps cause welp not alot of people is playing now :( online taking alot of times
I really wish there would have been a sequel. I feel like the sequel could have fixed the issues from the first one, and improved upon what was good.

Ghost and the summer of 2016 was a flawless and beautiful mix. All the flaws in Ghost is what made me appreciate it and made the game what it was. I thank that game for being part of the best summer of my life.

I really liked ghosts because it was my first cod. I’d played others but it was at friends houses. Ghosts I got to learn on my own and have the most hours in. I liked that the maps weren’t your typical three lane cod map. The mechanics feel good. The guns were good. The graphics were not the best but the game was different at the time. Then came the exo movement systems and I hated COD for a while
I miss 2016. Everything was easier back then, not to mention the economy was in a decent place and the future looked bright.
I've started playing Ghost on my PS5 again recently and man. I forgot how much i missed this game lol
I think compared to every other cod game (including modern cod) ghost has the best hit detection
That campaign is always worth another run. I loved Ghosts. Clan Wars was some of the funnest time I ever had in any mp game.
Would be cool if these old games had cross play. Would probably be about 1-2K players on every platform

This is actually the only other cod game I've played and I got it fairly recently on an Xbox 360 with no internet so me and my brother would split screen with bots. I'm currently playing mw2 and idk why people hate it it's really fun
I remember pre ordering the game just to get the Ghost skin in multiplayer, hands down my favorite call of duty game.

loved ghosts. i remember skipping school to play ghosts and trying to level up my clan to lvl 25 with clan wars. i got the hardend edition for xmas bc i was too broke to buy it myself and my internet was too bad to download the dlc maps. i played on a small computer screen from the year 2005 without audio. loved the struggles now kids have a 10k setup and they're still trash. good times
Squads is so underrated. 10 years later and I can still hop on with my team and dominate in the Wargames playlist. I'd play Squad Assault but most squads I match up against are like one Level 30 and 5 other unedited defaults lol plus the score limits are abbreviated which I never really liked.
Ghosts gets so much hate and I just don't get it. Me and my friends had an absolute blast getting on ghosts for hours and grinding away on multi-player, definitely my favorite cod game of all time.
I still play cod ghosts time to time still love it but only tdm is open

I loved this game on x360, so many great times in TDM and Domination, and perk system in this game is sooooo satisfying. It's also on sale now and nostalgia brought me here to see if anyone still plays this gem 😂
I am 28 and I just found my old Xbox and I recently just started playing that again
I honestly loved this game. Played it quite a bit on my Xbox 360 when it came out. Feels like I am crazy for liking it. Maybe part of it is just nostalgia for a simpler time in CoD history. Just before the series completely imploded on its self.
The shotgun attachment taking the grenade slot was genius. Just hit the grenade button. No one ever ran it either

Even though many of us didn't like this crap when it released now we adore it after 9 CoD games.... particularly up to 2012 to be exact with Black Ops 2. That's where for me CoD ended. But they managed to make it good again with the recent Modern Warfare games. Still the nostalgia and how good those games were is unexplainable. Long story short from 2003 to 2012 are the best CoD games.
I remember picking up my 360 on launch day November 2005. Was so damn pumped to get this console. Before I got it, I had absolutely no experience playing any console games online so I didn't know what to expect. Got talked into buying a 360 from a coworker who was huge into Halo 2, he was going to show me the ropes online and get me into Halo. I ended up picking up COD 2 the same night and that was my first experience with the series. Was instantly hooked, stayed up all night playing online even though I got destroyed. Somehow I ended up in a 1V1 sniper match with a guy and had so much fun that he added me so we could do it again. 18 years later, he's still on my friends list, still see him logged in every now and then although we haven't gamed together in many years. He's usually playing Forza Horizon or NBA 2K23, neither game I play. Would be cool to send him a message asking if he wants to throw down on COD 2 for old times sake.

Cod ghosts i troduced the smoothest gunplay. Killstreaks weren’t all that on the offensive side though. However extinction shits on zombies all day

So I still play ghosts every evening we play search on ps4 and I love it but I admit the visibility is poor with big maps so it entices camping but objective modes are great because you gotta move to the objective but team deathmatch isnt fun but for example competitive ghosts was one of the best

I was dropping 40-50 kills a game and in the new MW I can only hit maybe 15

MP is borderline unplayable. Extinction is good still of course but the MP side of it is just infuriating. People will just camp the entire match. That's like 10 minutes of running around the map trying to find someone to kill just to see someone, start chasing after them to get one shotted by some sweaty tramp who's been watching you the whole time. Then repeat that 30- 40 times and the game ends. Its really that bad. Like I'm so angry I paid for the game again because its ruined.

Re bought this four days ago. Haven't come 1st in a single match and haven't even come close to winning gun game. Every single map will have multiple cracked players (or using hacks?) camping all hot points, and you will never even come close to winning. Ever. Can someone please tell me from xbox to xbox user if its just me? I used to KILL IT about 7-8 years back but now it's just unplayable for me and its so infuriating because I know I was genuinely really good.
That’s what happens when you leave a game for too long or start late. Everyone playing is a veteran. Even I struggled a bit when recording because I had to relearn everything.
@@CR0WYT nope I returned to B01 which is absolutely riddled with hackers and I win rather often or at least come close. Its an actual competition. With Ghosts there is no competition at all. I just get absolutely destroyed for the entirety of every match. And that's whether I camp, run around or sneak around etc. I cannot move 6 feet without dying.
@@Earth.VS.Humans BO1 also has way more players meaning you're gonna get a much larger variety of players. Ghosts still has a very low population even after the server updates due to the game itself not being favored by many, so everyone in Ghosts is gonna be insane since they're the only ones left playing.

I thought ghosts was an okay game definitely overhated but for me it just felt too bland. It was always just so dark (which fits ghosts narrative Ik) but I would’ve liked to see more maps that were (this is gonna sound weird ) but colorful and vibrant.

However “we” were kids then and for reasons… we were having fun with friends we didn’t care. And like us kids then we still shouldn’t care. If you pay for the game that’s on you.
