BEST roof rack for a soft top jeep with Sunrider! (Rooftop Tent Solution)

- In this video we install our new Smittybilt 76717 SRC Roof Rack. We have been looking for the perfect roof rack to use on a Jeep Wrangler soft top. We love this roof rack so far because we can use it with our snorkel and are still able to use our sunrider roof! We are excited to try this roof rack to put a rooftop tent on our soft top. We go through some of the highlights and key points for the installation and also give our initial impressions. Our build includes the installation of light pods (you could also use a light bar).

Finally put my soft top on. I have roof rack still unpacked... Can you fully open soft top? All the way down? Also do you still like the rack?
Love your video. I love watching OTHER people beat up there jeeps but for me I’m more interested in hopefully doing beautiful overland mild trails soon. Not much for the roof rake but do you have any input on those small trailer that can have a roof top tent mounted with room to add camping stuff to them?

No whistling. But it does add wind noise.
It would have been nice to actually see you opening and/or closing the sunrider front portion of the sunroof.

Court spare tire cargo rack is that that you have mounted on the back of your Jeep?
Can were you still use the sunrider feature on your Bestop Pro top with the RTT installed? I have the same top and am wanting to do a rack for my RTT but want to keep use of the sunrider if possible
Have you had any problems with opening your soft top with the tent on looking to do the same with mine.

How do you open the rear glass window? It looks like it would hit the rearmost part of the rack. Does it?

@@BenandBrandi very awesome. I had my sights set on an Exposed Rack for hauling plywood and 2x4s with the soft top retracted, but that won't work with a Trektop Pro. This will! Yay!

Dang.. so I also have the best top trek top soft top, but my sunshade opens up all at once, like folds back in one piece,
I’ve never seen one like yours that kind of wrinkles back.

I’m so hoping to find a roof rack that will still let me open my sunshade cause I love it and I love my soft/hard top.
