It's no fun, is it? But the joy of autonomy and freedom is for those who exercise it without putting others at risk. It takes work, for sure, but there's an infinite reward in it.
Once you put yourself in the spotlight for not taking care for the consequences of what you do, the only thing that you can expect is for some stranger to step in and take care for you. And you don't get to choose what that looks like.
You're right, the only way out is to submit. That's a profound violation of the spirit within you, and I wish it weren't so. Many people can't ever recover from it. And yet you brought it on yourself.
The people you put at risk, they didn't bring it on themselves, and yet they too were forced to submit, to the threat or the fact of harm by you.
So we get together as a community, and we try to think of some way to protect all the innocent people. That's what this is really all about. You could be part of the solution. If you're part of the problem, guess what? You'll be forced to submit. And it may destroy your spirit. And that would be tragic. It's up to you to avoid that outcome.

I believe most people think it is "punishment" but the aren't looking at how all those things are designed to correct behavior, give them the skills and tools to make changes, etc.

All those issues she 'claims' are garbage & has shown the only time she does anything is when it's convenient for her!!
